22.01.2022 For ages I thought loving myself sounded ridiculous. Then I finally found some time to think long and hard on this... who are the people I really admire? Study them, what do they talk about all the time? Yes all about how to let go and love ourselves first, cause then we truly do have more love to give...... it has been a journey and I am getting closer. Affirmations are helping me... another thing I thought ridiculous. My motto is don't knock it till you try it... 11.01.2022 So if you are feeling stuck in a rutt right now, why? Is it cause you feel obligated to your job? Is it cause you were taught this is how life is? You think if you work harder it will get better? You worry about what others will think if you try something new? ... Are you scared of change? I felt some of these things too... especially the work harder... yet I was working 18 hour days - most weeks it was 7 days a week and yet I still felt like things weren't improving for me. I was watching a friends life change before my eyes. I wondered what she was doing and I was so scared of saying no to anyone that I actually got another friend to find out for me. I liked the sound of it and encouraged by my friend I looked further into it. It blew my mind, why oh why had I not looked into this sooner! This isn't for everyone, and that's okay.
