25.01.2022 Hi all. Well, with a lot of pain killers, I have been able to do a bit of creating in the workshop while I am home. Some interesting pieces have been created and now that the Gallery is open, they are on display here and in Murray st Bazaar in Wonthaggi. The address for the Gallery is 323 Inverloch Venus Bay rd Inverloch . We enjoyed the company of the Inverloch Walking group where 30 members came to share a cuppa and morning tea and have a look around our gallery. We would l...ove you to come and have a coffee and enjoy the view, the ducks, chooks and magpie like they did. Ph no is 0490803407 if you have any inquiries. Dont forget, there is still a sculpture display at the Lucinda Winery in Leongatha, until the end of the month. Kerry of Tumblegum also has her items here and at Murray st Bazaar as well including original paintings, driftwood and shell as well as cotton and wool creations. Dream catchers and house decor along with succulent sales. All set in an interesting creative garden for you to enjoy. Open Friday to Monday all year and most days over the school holidays.

25.01.2022 Even though I have an absolutely agonizing back and torn tendon in my shoulder, I have been dosing up on pain killers so I can continue getting our home working as a gallery. At least I can stop when it gets to much. I have put a new front on the old shed and made some pathways to the shed and amenities. Kerry has spent months designing the garden and displaying and planting lots of stuff from Venus Bay and we have been graced with some gifts of plants where they have been du...g out. We are using decking that has been salvaged from jobs that I did some years ago ( knew it would come in handy one day) and timber that we have salvaged from lots of other places . Lots of rusty bits that we have collected feature in the garden and some of my creations are up for sale, but there needs to be a lot more before we can open properly. Kerry is also making quirky cactus gardens for sale and we have free range eggs as well. We are sort of open now and will be officially open to the public in early December but our big launch will be in January so stay tuned. We are located at 323 Inverloch Venus Bay Rd Inverloch and open 10 till 5 Friday to Monday or otherwise by appointment. Phone 0407267561. Come and Visit and enjoy the ducks ,chooks, alpacas, dogs and the Magpie as well as the view and you may even get a coffee.

24.01.2022 This was the first try. - I didnt think it would work but Kerry persisted.

23.01.2022 What a couple of days. The rain allowed me to be in my workshop without getting into trouble. These were my creations. There was another dog and another turtle but they went to the shop before if took a picture. We have had great success over the last 2 weeks selling a peacock a road runner 4 dogs a yin and yan on stand and a square ultra modern square on beautiful old fence post and well as a Kerry designed outdoor table. We are very happy with marchs march.

12.01.2022 Last year when I was not feeling to good, a long time friend asked me to go up to his home and guide him in building a cubby house for his son. His wife had the idea but he had no experience with putting things together so I guided through the procedure to build this beauty. He has just sent me the pics of his son enjoying the cubby. I am hoping that my back, shoulder and hands improve enough to be able to build a few of these for sale when I can.

12.01.2022 After our massive enforced life change that will take place in December, we have been a bit quiet on the creative scene, but Kerry is up and running, trying to use up lots of bits and pieces she has stashed away for years. We have an exhibition in The Inverloch Hub in January and we still have our stall in the Murray street Bazaar in Wonthaggi All our items we have created are available for sale at LeeZart and Tumblegum Gallery at 323 Inverloch Venus Bay Road. Here are some of her creations waiting for a bit of growth to be ready for Christmas and January. Air plants arriving next week as well. Kerry is having so much fun. The creative juices and hot glue are flowing freely. All those pictured are available now starting from $10

11.01.2022 Over the last few days we have been making Penny some carry boxes for her crop of organic figs that are almost ready to harvest. Good luck Penny, with your sales and thank you for your order. I hope these boxes create a great display for them. These boxes can be used for anything and we can make them to your required size. They are all made with stops on the base so they can be packed with no chance of movement and the small ones also fit 2 on top of the large ones.

11.01.2022 Our lives evolve in many different ways and sometimes I am sure the universe sends obstacles so we are enforced to go in a different direction. That has happened to us over the last 12 months and we are joining the Grey nomads 10 years earlier than we planned. But you know - I think it is better to do this while we are a little younger ( especially Kerry) so that we can enjoy our lives together in health and whatever comes our way. We are getting ready for the big switch in A...pril (delayed) after we have an exhibition in the Inverloch Hub in March. We are parked up getting our little home away from home ready, with complete off grid living and fully self contained. While we are working on that, we have decided to have a stall at the Kongwak market , on every Sunday from 9 till 2 pm. I have a menagerie there already with bird baths, reed sculptures, snails ,dragon flies and lots of pieces while Kerry is just getting back into her work. So we hope to see you there. Great Place for that original Christmas present. See more

08.01.2022 Hey Guys - I hope this post finds you all well and safe. Please keep all we have achieved so far by social distancing and self isolation. We are winning. 06.01.2022 The last few months have put a lot of strain on everyone and we are not out of the woods yet. I have kept myself busy working on our little trailerable home and creating items to sell. They are at Townsend Nursery on West Area rd in Wonthaggi which has been very busy. Nothing to do - Why not garden. Kerry has got her mosaic items out there as well. They are open 6 days a week NOT Tuesday 9 - 5. Such a wide variety of plants.Indoors and Out, succulents and seedlings. Take a trip out there and have a browse through there nursery. 06.01.2022 We have had a great couple of days at home creating for our stall at Murray Street Bazaar in Wonthaggi. We have not had a day like this for months. Life just ha...s been to busy getting our yard ready for our Gallery opening ( LeeZart ) and (Liptrap Creations) at the end of the year. I have been helping my wife Kerry Murrell design her garden which has proven a magical therapy for her. Just watching her smile when the daffodils and anemones started to flower is a sight to behold. Feeding the ducks and chooks each morning has also been a very enjoyable coffee break. There has not been much for us to smile about lately. Thank you to our buddy Dave as his kindness has helped us so much. He has no idea how much we appreciate it. Here are some pics of our stand at the Murray street bazaar after we restocked today. Tomorrow some pics of our garden, ducks, chooks, dogs, and the magpie. See more

04.01.2022 We have an exhibition of our work at the Hub in Inverloch for the month of June, so today was a great time to get out my bits and pieces to do some creating. I sorted and cleaned lots of items, the brain storm started and my hands just seemed to mix and match. I had so many ideas, there is now 20 sculptures ready and waiting for me to start welding. It has been a very enjoyable day. Kerry also was creating, but she didnt create any dinner. Scratch tea again. But worth it just being happy.

03.01.2022 This heat is knocking us around a bit but our Gallery gets the best breeze from the south, so we can keep doing a bit of work. I have been very careful with the backache with the work I am doing but last week I slowly put a table together for a customer. It took a bit of time but looks great in her house. It is a cypress slab that I purchased probably 12 years ago and the legs I found at our local bazaar. This customer could only have a narrow table so this is 2.5 meters long and ranges from 75 to 90 cm wide. She has teamed them up with some retro chairs she bought from the Fish Creek pub and had recovered at Toora. It is a great job and they look very funky. Thanks Tracey for your business.
