25.01.2022 Create space simply to be and clarity emerges for you to see! #margins

25.01.2022 Over the next 6 weeks I am looking forward to sharing with you 4 wonderful conversations with extraordinary women on creating space: - for our children and their mental health; - in our own mental and physical health; - in our time; and... - in our spirituality. I cannot wait to share the very first conversation of the series this coming Friday.

24.01.2022 How can you lift someone a little higher today? #legacyroad

20.01.2022 You never have to compete with anyone else's view of success and accomplishment. Ever! The one who manages the little they have been given with faithfulness and integrity will be promoted and trusted with greater responsibilities." Luke 16:10

16.01.2022 Hi, it’s Ashley and Karen here, we’re the co-founders of Legacy Road. Legacy Road is a movement that empowers people to live within their means, be in control of their money, live generous lives, invest to build a prosperous future, build strong healthy relationships and leave a generational legacy. Whether you are a teenager at the start of your financial journey, an adult who needs to get your finances in order, a start-up business or business in the growth phase, Legacy Ro...ad will give you practical wisdom and proven strategies to help you thrive, increase and grow. The reality is, there is no magic pill or mystical money tree that is going to solve all your financial problems and give you overnight happiness. Walking the legacy road involves choices and principles that may seem difficult at times, but it will set you and your loved ones on a journey of life that is prosperous, fulfilling and fun. Our prayer is that you would prosper in every way.

14.01.2022 A couple of years ago, I came to the brink of burn-out. I was so busy striving, so busy hustling, packing my calendar full with every great intention. However, I forgot something. I forgot to take care of my myself I failed to rest, to be still. God knows we need rest. It’s why He created the ‘Sabbath’, a day of rest so that we could be refreshed. Unfortunately, I had bought the lie that taking time out to rest was selfish or lazy. It sounds contradictory, but finding rest, stillness and stopping oneself from striving actually takes effort. It requires you to be intentional, purposeful and you will need to put margins and boundaries in place so that you can achieve this. Let me encourage you just like the writer of Hebrews did, to ‘make every effort to enter that rest’ (4:11). It is a rest that is worth the effort.

13.01.2022 Happy Friday! Today is the day I finally get to share with you the first in our Margins series, ‘Conversations on Creating Space’. In this episode I am joined by Child Therapist and Researcher, Symantha Molloy as we discuss the importance of helping our kids build positive mental health. Sym shares so many practical tips and learnings for parents and future parents alike. I hope you get as much out of this conversation as I have. Pour yourself a glass of wine, settle in and ...enjoy! Love Karen xx #margins

09.01.2022 Where has COVID left your goals and plans for this year? Does it feel like 2020 has been written off? Now is the time as we head into this second half of the year to relook at your goals (or set some if you don't currently have any). Make some time to sit down and work out what would be a WIN for you this year - in your relationships, in your health, in your finances. Write them down and find ways to keep them in front of you. Then make a plan to achieve it. Every day presents a new opportunity - don't miss tomorrow's.

08.01.2022 "Earning your wealth is only half the journey, protecting what you have earned is the other half." Ash Let us know if you would like us to talk more about asset protection strategies in the future! A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children. Prov 13:22

08.01.2022 "...don’t allow yourselves to be weary or disheartened in planting good seeds, for the season of reaping the wonderful harvest you’ve planted is coming!" Gal 6:9 (TPT) While the thought of 'financial freedom' may seem out of reach, the reality is when we operate our finances in accordance with God's principles, we activate God’s promises and the miraculous... don't give up. That's our prayer for you today. Ash & Karen

07.01.2022 "As a child I never understood why my teacher would make me take a ruler and red pen and draw a 'margin' down the left hand side of my page before I would start work. She tried to explain to me that it was to ensure there was space so that she, or I, could make comments, corrections etcetera. However, as a 6 year old I didn’t appreciate the concept she was trying to teach me. I didn’t understand why I couldn’t use all of the page, or why I should let that space be wasted or r...emain unused. It wasn’t apparent to me how empty space could be valuable nor appreciate that I may have a need for extra space in the future... as I would obviously get it right the first time! (Ok, I was a confident kid!!!) A lot has changed since that time and now I understand that it is margins in our life that create the capacity to stretch us further than maybe we originally envisaged. It’s margins that give us some room for mistakes and do-overs and lift the weight of having to be perfect. I have also discovered that margins, especially with my time and money, empower and enable me to help others as I haven’t used 100% of what I have. In what area of your life do you need to create some margins?" Karen

07.01.2022 Hey guys, Ash here... It's definitely a very challenging time for so many families and businesses right now and our thoughts are with ALL our clients and frien...ds who are feeling this season. For those who may still be ok financially speaking, I want to talk about 'reserves'. It's so, SO important that when your cashflow is good you don't spend it all. Rather, gradually tuck money away until you have 3 to 6 months of expenses in cash. Your reserves will help you weather the tough times, and be in a strong position to support your team and loved ones. When this tough season is over, make creating reserves in your business and personal finances a priority to give you financial strength, so that you can weather any future storms which may arise. Please do get in contact with us if we can help in any way. Stay safe, Ash.

03.01.2022 How often do you catch yourself saying, 'I'd love to, but I can't'? Whether it's stopping to help someone with something we hadn't foreseen, giving to a cause we'd not budgeted for, or finding time to go for a run in amongst the 10,000 other things we need to achieve today. Well, what if you did have capacity? What if, before you started your week, your month, or your year, you took a ruler and a red pen, drew a margin, and left some space? This November, I am delving a little deeper into 'Margins' as I meet with four incredible women about how they create space for their mental and physical health, their time, spirituality, and kids. I am so looking forward to sharing these learnings with you - Karen x

01.01.2022 "Working with Karen and Ash from Legacy Road has been life changing for me. When I first came across their Lifetime Wealth course, my circumstances had recently changed and I suddenly found myself in the dangerous cycle of living from pay to pay. I was in survival mode. I was trying to budget, but money was seemingly disappearing faster than I could generate it. All of that changed when I attended their Lifetime Wealth course. It was the beginning of a new way of thinking about money and over the following year I learnt how to follow a budget, organise my accounts, run a business, save and build a far healthier bank account. It has made me a happier Mum and business owner, knowing that I can provide for my little boy and I. - Hayley
