06.01.2022 Ms Gwen Cherne is a Legacy widow, and the inaugural Veterans’ Family Advocate with the Australian Government Department of Veterans' Affairs. After serving in A...fghanistan, Cambodia, East Timor and Iraq, sadly her husband Peter took his own life in 2017. Ms Cherne told her story on Studio 10 this morning, highlighting her husbands’ battle with PTSD and how Legacy has supported her and her family since his death.
