25.01.2022 Girl, Get out of that box that you put yourself in. Is there is an area of your life that you want to be different, or you want to improve... are you open to changing things, or do you place yourself in a box of circumstances? I can’t do .... because I have a toddler full time, ... I could never afford ..... I will never be like that person, im just not good at... I don’t have time for ..... Iv been guilty AF of saying all of these phrases... especially the mum one. But this week after hubby made a simple suggestion to help me free up some time, and fit in the things I value - I shut him down instantly. I didn’t even let him finish what he was saying. I put myself in a box - don’t you realise I have a toddler full time, there is NO way I can do that. He chucked (with frustration), gave up explaining.. and then came back later and said can you just listen for a minute? He was right (), his idea literally works so well for freeing up a bunch of my time.. allowing me to fit in all of the things that I value in my day, while looking after Luna, with a whole lot less stress. It made me a bit annoyed with myself - why am I so quick to put myself in a box, and not listen when someone is making a suggestion for me, so quick to pass judgement - ‘you don’t know what it’s like!’ Do you do that too? Are there areas of your life that you aren’t open to changing because you aren’t willing to listen or try!? Have you boxed yourself in due to circumstances? It could be something super small, or something huge.. every little positive change makes a huge difference in your life and happiness. My new mantra is - Everything and anything is possible for me I encourage you to open the box and give it a try ;)

25.01.2022 Our little man has a physical condition, that will affect his abilities for the rest of his life. Most people wouldn’t even notice, he hides it well, and sometimes I completely forget too. But then, as I’m sure other mothers in similar situations may relate, something triggers an absolute spiral of emotions - anger, sadness, resentment. One of those happened this morning. I was teasing him about how long his toe nails were, saying he might end up in the Guinness world recor...ds for the longest toenails ever, when he looked down and said mum I can’t reach them properly to cut them. *Cue knife in the guts. Twisted. How could I not have thought of that? Or, how I’m so proud and stoked for him riding his bike to school, yet I still strategically drive past as he reaches the bottom of a huge hill that I know he will struggle to get up, pull over and casually ask hey mate, want a lift? Sometimes I see the look of relief on his face as he jumps in, sometimes he says in a voice way too grown up for my liking Na, I’m right - and off he goes, the strongest little legend I know. Or when one of the kids is looking at old photos on my phone and stumbles across one of his recovery, or him as a baby before we knew.. if only we knew then. If you are in a similar situation, whether your little one struggles intellectually, mentally, physically or emotionally, or with something else; I hear you always being that pillar of strength, of positivity and encouragement. But I also feel you in those triggering moments when you just want to curl up and have a big cry. Sending love.

24.01.2022 ADD HABIT - Add life. This has been my little motto for the last 12+ months. When I was pregnant with kiddo no.3 so many other mamas of three would say things to me like ‘oh life is a party with three’, or ‘three is soooo much more than two’, or ‘three kids is WILD’ anyhoo im sure you get the drift. When our little munchkin joined the family, I soon figured out what they meant - maybe its something to do with our number of limbs like if we had three arms, maybe three kids w...ouldn’t feel like such a juggle?! I started to feel like I was chasing my tail in a way I hadn’t experienced before, meeting all of their needs, feeding them all, running them around, getting them bathed and to bed, and then trying to work and have some me time really was WILD! I started to read books on organisation, and healthy habits - as my daily habits and protocols had really gone out the window, my love of natural living felt unachievable and I wanted to feel more ‘in control’ of this life I was juggling I really needed some organisation and intention behind my day. At the same time, I wanted life to be adaptable, not strict, not encumbering (like never being able to leave the house), in other words.. I wanted to have a flow to my days as a mum of three that was simple, made us all happy and also allowed me to have a life and not just be a matre of the home - I know prob sounds like an absolute mystical world right? Well my obsession with the science behind habit creation paid off. I have implemented simple habits based on my 4 principles that allow you to master and take control of different aspects of your day to day. Simple additions that don’t feel like an extra ‘chore’ to remember, that have a positive ripple effect on all other areas of your day. So much so, that after 12m of thinking about it - I took the plunge and created a program centred around everything that I have learned and implemented that has allowed me to master mothering three, feeling on top of my day to day, and prioritising the healthy living principles that are at the core of my values. ADDHABIT+ I am going to share more details about the program in the coming days and weeks. You are welcome to check it out a little more now at Addhabit.co If you like xx

22.01.2022 - [ ] Every. Single. Day. I receive messages from people wanting to tune into my webinar’s, asking questions about oils, asking for recipes etc who already use doterra essential oils, however dont know much about HOW to use them. - [ ] I always let anyone access my webinars etc that I share online, so I dont have a problem with that at all BUT what they dont realise is.. that the education that I share in my public space is NOTHING compared to the resources and support that... my personal customers receive inside my Customer support forum - The Blissful Life Club. - [ ] I can’t express enough how important it is to get started with someone who will hold your hand and show you the way with incorporating essential oils in your life.. because as you would have seen from my reel today - the oils can be incorporated in SO many areas of your home and life, and knowing how to use essential oils properly will mean that - [ ] > you WILL have a natural option ready to go in the moment for that midnight spew bug - it’ll work too! - [ ] > You WILL have less hormone disrupting, cancer causing chemicals in your home slowly building up in yours and your families bodies. - [ ] > You WILL have a tool to use when your little one comes home upset, or is anxious about an event at school - and you will be instilling life long lessons about talking about their feelings and emotions at the same time (this is huge!). - [ ] > You WILL be able to nip those early signs of the sniffles in the butt proactively and reduce those sickdays (for you and your kids!) - [ ] > You WILL have an easy solution to blocked noses and rattly chests that are stopping your little one from getting the rest they need when unwell. - [ ] .. I could go on. - [ ] Point being - my ultimate goal is for a mama to feel so full of knowledge and have such confidence with their oils, that when in a moment of worry with their little one, whether that be something physical or their emotional state.. that they KNOW what to use and how to use it in the moment. And when that little bottle of plant magic helps, they just want to smother that bottle in KISSES, and are so damn grateful that their past self prioritised natural health in their home. Empowered Holistic Parenting. - [ ] We have just unlevelled our signature resource for our customers - ADD HABIY+ which is all about simple, habitual protocols..no guess work, no confusion, into an even more user friendly platform. I cannot wait to walk you through it if you too, are ready to up level your holistic parenting

20.01.2022 Ok my stories this morning I shared how disastrous our Monday morning was when the girls and I didn’t do our medi & mindfulness - talk about starting the week off right So you betcha we were back into it this morning. My kids are so much more calm, and less distracted or flustered/stressed when we do just a quick meditation and have that special time together. I use the APP @smilingmind which is great because you can add in their age bracket etc. We light candles, sometimes... have tea, and rub either our balance blend or adaptiv blend on the bottom of feet before starting - these blends are both super grounding, so perfect for this exercise! We choose a 3-5min medi (this mornings was on gratitude ) After the medi we write down how we feel or what we want to bring into our day. Then blow out the candles together to the count of three. There is truely something magical about the rituals - especially the smoke! Miss 7 absolutely loves it, and the morning just flows with ease and happiness after Let me know what rituals you bring into your parenting, or if you are going to try this! See more

19.01.2022 Yessss to sunshine & school holi’s! Confession: I’m currently reading the ‘Edwards’ version of the twilight story always been #teamedward Who has some better book recommendations for me? Something in my age demographic perhaps Please share below!

19.01.2022 Juice I have been doing a 24hr juice flush once a week for the last three weeks and freaking loving it. I felt like I needed it one day, and felt so amazing that I decided to do it once a week for a little while.. I honestly get so excited for my juice day knowing how energised and CLEAR I will feel after.... Not sure how long I’ll do this for but right now it feels bloody good. Im a big believer in us being over fed and under nourished in our society. And a good flush of juice reminds my body to listen for its cues in terms of hunger, and to really FEEL what the food I eat does in my body. When I drink my purple juice, my cells feel alive! (That doesn’t happen when I eat chips btw ) Similarly when I eat papaya or watermelon in the sunlight.. something magical happens. Anyhoo, just sharing as a reminder to listen to your body, and your intuition with food, rather than what new food craze js thrown in your face ;) Do you have a go to food or meal that you know makes you feel amaze?

16.01.2022 TIME - GIMME SOME MORE TIME! Isn’t that one of the biggest wishes of busy mums, especially during winter - I feel like we go from after school to needing dinner on the table in 0.28 seconds! (Bring back long summer days!) Mama’s juggling a few kids, working, trying to fit in exercise, plus everything else in between do you want to know how making my own products in my home actually SAVES me time?! Nothing is more frustrating than running out of something in the home when you... have just done your weekly grocery shop - the thought of adding another grocery run into your shrinking week is frustrating as hell! Once you are set up in the home with your base ingredients, you cross that entire cleaning isle & bathroom off your shopping list! We are multitasking goddesses anyway, so it takes me less than a minute to top up my benchtop spray while packing lunches.. to top up the body wash and hand wash while prepping dinner seconds to refill the baby wipes when we runout during a poo explosion (if you know, you know!) - it wipes loads of things off the list to remember to buy, or to run out when you weren’t ready for it! Pop your fave ‘mum life’ emoji below if you want to be first on the list to access the program I have been working on that literally nails time saving in the home & positive habits for busy, full, wild family life! Ps. Clearly but the look of this photo it’s not complicated... im NO diy queen!

14.01.2022 Who else is loving getting their life back!? Dinners out, socialising, and I’m particularly loving being back in the gym! Love having my little routine back - lulu loves being in creche with the ‘babies’ (as she calls them all, even the kids way bigger than her ).] [i also treated myself to a massage with the magical @kerrip.yoga.reiki.massage as well, which was sooooo needed!] [i didn’t quite realise how much I missed all of these moments of connection and physical touch. I... remember being taught the huge role that physical touch plays in our mental health at a doterra training event a few years ago. Small things like a hand on a shoulder, a high five, holding someone’s hand, or just being in close presence, all go a long way in making people feel loved & connected.] [No wonder the collective energy was so low when that was taken away.] [So make sure you take the time to fill yourselves back up with personal connection, touch and moments that make you feel loved ] See more

14.01.2022 | Self esteem | As you would know from my posts recently iv been really delving into learning more about parenting older kids (pre-pre-teen). Iv been feeling the rollercoaster of challenges and emotions coming up lately from miss 7 & mr 10, and I know its just going to get more wild as they enter the teen years. My absolute #mumgoal is to have teens that trust and talk to me, like I did with my mum (love you @deb_veares you legend!) Anyhoo, todays chat is about self esteem - ...here are three ways you can promote positive and confident self esteem in your littles. 1. Create a ‘sacred time’ for just them and you, use this time to really let your child be felt and seen. This can be as simple as a prompt at bedtime such as ‘what was the most special part of your day today?’ Or as you may have seen, Miss7 and I have been doing a morning 5min meditation and journalling. (I would love to share this with you as its been invaluable - pop a prayer emoji in the comments if you want to know more about it!) 2. Apologise when you are not being respectful of their needs. Its cool mama’s, we aren’t Mary poppins there will always be a time when you don’t give them your attention, snap, or brush them off but apologising will let them see they their needs matter, and that they are important. I do this often with my toddler or older kids - im sorry darling, I realise I wasnt listening properly I was a little distracted, can you tell me now?’, or ‘in sorry I over reacted before...’ 3. Celebrate their uniqueness, and try not to compare them with others. Let THEM shine through and love them up for who they are with positive comments and gestures. Allow time and space for their voices and ideas to shine through - im the first to put my hand up and say im waaaaaay over controlling haha but learning to let their ideas, and ceativity to come through is truely magical. Just repeat in your head (don’t interrupt stop wait ) I definitely have to give a shoutout to the ‘brave’ blend from the kids collection that aligns with this post - especially if self esteem is something your little ones are working on. Sometimes an anchor such as an essential oil roller that they can take with t See more

12.01.2022 3 simple things you can do RIGHT NOW that will have a huge impact on reducing the toxins in your home! I get it, you see these mums on insta who appear to ‘do it all’. Their kids eat well, their home is full of DIY toxin free products that look perfect in their all white, always clean homes. Sure, you would love to not feel guilty when you spray your kids highchair with spray & wipe, you would love for your eyes not to sting for the remainder of the day after you clean the b...athroom, it would be freaking peachy for your kids to sing and dance and play together like the Brady bunch (ok, ok im sorry I actually can’t guarantee that last one ;)) However whenever you try to clean up your home it either costs you half a holiday deposit, or the recipes and lists of ingredients look like its written in another language! Not to mention - these mums can’t possibly be as busy as you, it would be a full time job making all of these products.. surely! Well, im going to debunk 2 things right now. 1. Toxin free homes ARE cheaper! 2. MY toxin free products use max 3-4 ingredients, take less than 2 mins to make and the ingredients are so easy to find, you will be kicking yourself for not trying them sooner! Here are 3 simple things you can do RIGHT NOW to reduce a bucketload of chemicals in your home. 1. Make my ‘pantry’ soft scrub for bathrooms, oven, grains, and dishwasher. 2. Ditch every spray bottle in your cupboard for my ‘everything spray’ 3. Throw out all home fragrances, air freshener and replace with oils & diffusers. Ok now tell me, was any of that ‘too difficult’ or ‘too expensive’? If you need me to hook you up with my custom CLEAN HOME pack so you have the products you need at wholesale; lemme know! Pop an emoji below and I’ll DM you the recipes for those products!

12.01.2022 Her love of reading Snapped my girl engrossed in her new book ‘the confidence code, for girls’ a wonderful book for 8+. Her excitement when she opened it yesterday ... I know she will love this book, and I got her the journal also and cannot wait to hear what she thinks - this is such an big time for her I feel, I can see her growing emotionally just as much as physically, and I just want her to love herself, and be as strong and confident as she wants to be Anyone have any book recommendations for girls, lemme know; even better, we would love to do some book swaps if your little lady is a book too!

09.01.2022 I love Sundays like this; slow mornings, homework with the kids (we nailed that kookaburra assignment ). homework hasnt always cruisy in our household but we use the kids focus blend and steady blend to help prevent meltdowns or anxiousness about the tasks that they need to do - total #mumwin . Followed by a long walk/bike ride for some yummy smoothies in town. Now fingers crossed Lulu girl will have a nap so that I can have a sauna pure bliss Sunday

08.01.2022 **Market Research I would love for you to help me with some feedback.. As you may know, I’m putting together an epic program that HUGELY simplifies natural living for families and busy lifestyles.... What areas of your life do you wish were a little ‘healthier’/better - your self care, the toxins in your home, your food & exercise, energy levels...? If you do use essential oils, what is an area of the oils you haven’t delved into because it seems to complicated or hard? If you do not use essential oils in your home, what is the main thing holding you back? So grateful for your help! Xo

07.01.2022 #challengeaccepted So grateful to be surrounded by strong, independent and bloody inspirational women who strive for their best life always! Thanks for the nom @georgie_kissinglife & @virtuallyamber love you ladies!

07.01.2022 At the end of the week my kids are often.. easily irritated fighting with each other emotional and sensitive... And no wonder.. the intensity of a big week at school is a lot! That’s why we love our Sunday Spiritual Reset. I clearly see a huge difference particularly in their gratitude General calmness and the way they interact & their emotional strength and confidence. Our ‘Sunday Spiritual Reset’ is lesson 5 of the ‘Thriving kids’ module of my signature program; ADD HABIT+. We do this with a simple chakra cleanse and stillness (chakra kit from @shantiandsage ) ____ Mr 10 was reluctant at first to join our chakra cleansing, he had been agitated, and quite aggressive with his sister that morning and the day before & super moody. I could see him watching miss 7 (who LOVES the spiritual reset!!) so after, he wanted a turn. He giggled and fidgeted for a while and I let him know that was ok, just chill and that I would leave him there for a while. I came back after a few moments and he was SOOOOOOO relaxed and calmly breathing. His whole mood and attitude was calm after, which honestly, raises the vibe of the whole house! Who needs a spiritual reset in their life!? Pop a if you love the sound of this!!

03.01.2022 In the last few weeks iv been down a few spirals or anxiousness around health - long term breastfeeding and not looking after myself properly lead to some nutrient deficiencies - I couldn’t concentrate or think properly, motivation levels were very low as were my thoughts and feelings. Very unlike me. I also had a skin scare on my shoulder that kept me up several nights worrying. With disease, sad stories and negativity very much the loud message in the media and around us, i...t’s easy to let this consume you and have you thinking the worst sometimes. After getting myself checked and sorted out, I decided that instead of going down rabbit holes of what could be wrong all of the time, I’m going to visualise myself when I’m old and grey. There is great power in your thoughts becoming your reality so instead of worrying the worst all of the time - how about visualising the best future? Visualising myself as an oldie brings the biggest smile to my face.. here is what I see.. I picture myself with really really long curly grey hair, the tips almost on my waist. I wear it out most of the time or have it curled on top of my head in a bun. I wear flowy light coloured clothes, and always have a cane basket full of goodies. I imagine us living on the water, hubby keeps to himself a lot, fishing and tinkering (a lot like now haha), but im a huge socialite. I go for a sunrise beach walk everyday, a long one where I stop and chat to people, pat dogs, pickup shells. Then I head to my local cafe and sit in the sun with a friend or read for an hour or so. 3 times a week I do yoga, and one session of Pilates. At home I juice daily, and cook delicious hearty food from our garden. We mostly eat veges and fresh fish. At night hubby and I sit on the front deck, I have a glass of red wine some nights, and he always a beer. I run loads of social programs - a monthly women’s wellness circle, as well as running a book club where we meet in person every week. I’m very much a part of our small community, and young people often send new mothers or people to me as the ‘plant lady’ who makes up potions or listens and gives advice to absolutely anyone. I have many grandchildren, and we host the best feasts with the whole family together. The kids run around outside like crazy until dark, they all love tinkering or building things with poppy, or making perfumes or cooking with nana. I cook and drink wine with my girls, always encouraging them to go for it with their dreams - always there to take the reins or look after the kids so they can have a break or travel. Mako has the most children, even though when he was younger he said he didn’t want any - he still loves fishing with dad, but always comes to me when he needs a good D&M or life advice. Have you ever thought about life this way? Imagined details about your wonderful future? Give it a go if this resonates. Or if you can often be stuck in the ‘worry land’. I’d love to hear about your grey nomad plans!

02.01.2022 I love feeling organised. I also hate the feeling of being so rigid and strict with life that I have no... life Feeling organised lessens my anxiety.. however, being in the organised mum mode 24/7 also makes me feel like a robot (and kinda like a slave tbh ). This is why I take the 80/20 rule into all areas of life.. not just with food and health but with being on top of mumlife too!... Two things help me do that.. being organised and on top of everything Monday - Friday... And then living my best YOLO life on the weekends! Friday arvo comes and the kids are like what’s for dinner mum? And I’m like we often have a snack platter by the fire or pizza.. the kids love it! Weekends are for zero plans, and maximum fun! To help me switch from YOLO mode back to super mum on Monday, I spend a quick 1-2 hours on the Sunday morning resetting our home, prepping food, making a shopping list and meal plan etc. but then it’s back to fun, knowing I’m sorted for the week ahead. bringing habits into our everyday based around my 4 habit creating principles. This means that even on the lax days.. I habitually do things that make our life easier and healthier. these are all set out in my ADD HABIT+ online course - addhabit.co (if you are one of my customers make sure you DM me for your free code). What about you? Do you bring 80/20 into mum life too?
