22.01.2022 The Aussie CP team has arrived in Poland for the WCPC and training has started! We've had some bad weather keep us on the ground and trying conditions but have managed to get my eye in on the course and working on a few things so I can push a bit harder ;) Here's one of my distance runs from yesterday, will be working on tidying up the turn so I can bring more power to the gates! 05.01.2022 2018 Australian Canopy Piloting Nationals is done and it was an epic week! As per typical York weather, the wind was consistently inconsistent making it a challenging comp for all involved. I was a little concerned about wether I would be able compete on my new Petra for the comp, having only done a handful of jumps on it prior to turning up for training, but managed to pull it together a couple of days before comp and I'm pretty stoked with how well I did considering! A donu...t on the first round of accuracy cost me dearly in the overall standings, but I managed to walk away with a silver in distance and speed in the OZ nationals, and a bronze in speed in the International competition. Placing 4th in the Aussie comp has earned me a spot on the Australian Team for the coming year and looking forward to stepping it up for the World Championships in Poland in a few months time! 01.01.2022 Just got home after an epic few days back in my old stomping ground at Skydive Nagambie! Was great to get down for nationals and compete in Speed Skydiving, even better to walk away after two long days with the Gold Medal and to have broken/set 3 new Australian Records while doing so! I ended up with a top speed of 476km, guess that makes me the fastest Man in Australia now! :D Stoked to have also earned my spot on the Australian Parachute Team this year to compete at the Wor...ld Championships on the Gold Coast in October! I'm also really proud of my beautiful girlfriend Bella, who not only gave the guys a run for their money but set an Australian women's speed record of 437km! Back at work this week but next week training starts for Canopy piloting Nationals in Western Australia, hoping to make the CP Team as well for the World Championships in Poland in July!
