23.01.2022 We know the world feels a little crazy at the moment... However right now, we would like to share our support for all our year 12 trainees who are currently having to complete their final year of high school at home. This may not be the way you pictured spending your senior year but we are here to help you overcome this challenge. We want to show our support to the #classof2020. So, to our LEA trainees, your LEA and BlueFit family have created this video for you. We want to ...share our support and help you stay positive, even though it is a little hard right now. Please remember that we "make every moment a learning opportunity" and we know this is only going to make you stronger. It is important to know that you can reach out to any of us during this time. No matter where we are, we are here to support you. YOU GOT THIS! Stay safe, The LEA team #SBATS #Sbatnsw #sbatqld #sbatvic #sbatwa

20.01.2022 Always Was, Always Will Be! This week LEA and BlueFit celebrate NAIDOC week 2020 in partnership with Training Services NSW and Kimberwalli. Nikala Seiver was invited along to participate in this video series as an LEA School-Based Traineeship graduate and now the mentor of our Aboriginal Support Service. She was asked to share her story and connection to the community, while also helping to encourage and inspire young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in schools, ...those who are soon to be school leavers and the broader community across the state. See Nikala's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch We pay our respects to our elders past and present and recognise the continuous culture of the First Nations of the country, understanding the strength and resilience that continues to grow within future generations. See the full video series here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist

This month we will discuss the meaning of resilience and what it means today with everything happening around us. This video contains some highlights of the tasks we have set out for the trainees ... #SBAT #TVET

18.01.2022 Every year NSW Training Awards host an awards night for the finalist who are in the running to win various award categories. Due to the unprecedented times of COVID-19, the awards event was cancelled and instead, the awards were announced virtually. This year for the Southern and South Western Region, LEA was lucky to have 4 finalists this year. Last week, we decided to host a mini luncheon to watch the awards together. Even though we had no category winner we are super prou...d of our finalists Alex, Jasmine and Rachael (School-based Trainee of the Year) and Jamie (Trainee of the Year). Congratulations on your outstanding achievements guys!
