24.01.2022 Our legendary Age Managers getting festive

24.01.2022 Nippers is on this morning

23.01.2022 Yamba Nippers carnival is on this Sunday, 22 November! This carnival is open to all nippers aged U8-U14s. Your Age Managers will be in touch with you to seek confirmation if your child/children will be participating.... For those competing, please arrive at Yamba SLSC by 8am to allow the Age Mangers to coordinate relay teams etc. Marshalling will commence at 8.45am and first race will be at 9am. For those competing in a carnival for the first time, these are big days but lots of fun. Some top tips: - Bring lots of suncream / zinc and a hat - Bring lots of snacks / water (the kiosk is usually open too) - Each competitor will be required to have their age group number written clearly on the top of their shoulder (so bring a black marker pen if you have one handy) - Kids need to wear their pink rashie & competition cap (we recommend popping you childs name on these) - Any questions - feel free to send these through the FB messenger COVID Plan: There is a maximum of 500 people allowed (including officals, water safety, participants and parents on each beach). Our Branch has recommended that only one parent can attend and no non competing siblings are to attend this carnival. Helpers required for the following: - Loading the board trailer (including boards, tents & carnival equipment) this Friday 20th November at 6.45am after board training - Setting up our our tents at Yamba SLSC, Yamba Main Beach at 7am on Sunday - Packing up the tent and the trailer at the end of the carnival - Back at the club, unloading the trailer The more people we have doing this the quicker it will be - let us know if you can help with any of the above. Uniform shop: - Will be open from 4.30 - 5.30pm this Wednesday Please note: - If you do have a privately owned board you are responsible for the transport of your own board and will need to collect your board from the shed on Friday morning. You will not have access to collect your board after Friday morning. - There will be no nippers this Sunday for the U6s & U7s. Can't wait to see you there

23.01.2022 Well done to our SRC upskill to Bronze kids. Top effort at todays assessment in some horrible and cold conditions

23.01.2022 A reminder that the uniform shop will be open this afternoon (Wednesday) 4.30-5.30pm - upstairs of the club (including competition caps if you need them for the Yamba carnival this weekend)

22.01.2022 For over 10 years, Lois Buckett Real Estate has been a valued sponsor for our nippers. Over the years, this has included everything from our pink rashies, to our age flags, competitor t-shirts and this year our Age Manager shirts. We're so incredibly grateful for your dedication and support of our club Lois , thank you so much .

21.01.2022 With the potential for storms tomorrow, a decision will be made about whether nippers is on or not at 8am tomorrow morning. This will be advised via Facebook.

21.01.2022 Foamy Training is back! Starting tomorrow, Wednesday 14 October and then every Wednesday & Friday from 6am - 7am. Open to all registered U9s & U10s who have completed their swim proficiency (any nipper who hasn't done their proficiency will have another chance this Sunday, 18 Oct).... Pink rashies must be worn (these can be popped over wetsuits / rashies etc). Club boards are available to borrow for these sessions (it's the responsibility of the nipper / parent to ensure these boards are washed at the end of each session and placed back in the shed). Parents are encouraged to stay for the duration of the training . Looking forward to seeing you there. #YeahtheFoamys
