25.01.2022 I was looking through some photos and I saw this pic I took of my daughter Kelly in Sydney a couple of years ago. The floral The Pedla kit is still a favourite of mine and hers. Leonie

24.01.2022 I saw this pic as I was scrolling to find another pic. I didn't know Richard and Jane very well at this time but I am certainly good friends now. What a lovely and well matched couple they are. Love this pic.

24.01.2022 Always fun to re share this post from 3 years ago. This was when we didnt know what the words "Social Distancing" even meant. Jacqui, Kristen, Edwina, Sarah, Leonie, Shari, Rosemarie Haegel, Leisha, Kerryn.

24.01.2022 What a lovely morning the GBC Girls had doing a 3 year memorial ride to Nudgee Beach for the GBC Womens Ride Month. Thanks to Bri who was the brains behind the Womens Ride month 3 years ago there have been s https://youtu.be/wR-BDdUbFmgo many lovely friendships have been formed and continue and we still love to get out on our bikes. 23.01.2022 A beautiful day for a pedal in New Zealand's North. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd8i-zegU8E&feature=youtu.be

23.01.2022 Theyre wouldnt be many fellow cyclists who dont admire Col for his grit determination on the bike and I am one of those people. I was given the honour recently to be asked to do a family portrait session for Col and his beautiful wife Tee. This was one of my many favourites from the session. I think it captures Col perfectly even if it is out of lycra. What do you think?

23.01.2022 So the yearly GBC Christmas Ride was on again. Here is a little clip I put together of the ride. Always lots of fun. Just shows what a fun cycling community we have in Graceville. https://youtu.be/DZgmJA-X79A

23.01.2022 Great little post by Laura at Place, Graceville. Thank you to Gary and Viv for organising the rides and especially the Christmas ride.

22.01.2022 While I am working on a clip for this year's ride. Here is a favourite clip of mine from 3 years ago. Sadly some of the people in it are not riding with us anymore. Enjoy, Leonie https://youtu.be/2E38kCyOlaI

22.01.2022 This is a little clip I put together of my "other" friends I ride with. Actually they were my husbands friends who were a wonderful support to him. I am not a gentleman but it is a "Gentle mens ride". There motto is short ride, long breakfast but now I have them doing a short ride out to Long Pocket. So pretty early in the morning. Carmen comes along as well so I am not the only lady! Leonie. This clip was done with the camera on my Cycliq camea/ lights.

21.01.2022 Well today I may have stopped a couple of times and it was very slow but I rode up Mt Coot-Tha. Here is a few of the highlights of the ride. Thank you to my friend Sarah who wouldnt take "no" for answer and my other friends that were waiting at the top to give me a hug. This clip was done with the camera on my Cycliq lights. https://youtu.be/DtVf4LI0p2I

20.01.2022 Friendship isnt about who youve known the longest. Its about who walked into your life, said Im here for you" and proved it. Thank you to these beautiful ladies I so enjoyed our cruisey pedal this morning exploring this beautiful city.

19.01.2022 Yesterday I spent a delightful day riding on part of the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail from Coominya to Esk with the Graceville Bike Communitys Retired Persons Meander aka RPM. Thank you to Neil who is kind enough to have 7 bikes one being an E Mountain Bike that he serviced and carried on his truck for us to ride. He also was kind enough to wait for me towards the end of the ride when I was a bit slow!! Loving my new Cycling Brims. Here is a little clip of our ride. I hope yo...u enjoy it. Leonie. Thank you also to Ian, Jacqui, Bob, John, Dave, Mal, Pete, Albert, Neil, Chris, Ann for coming along for the ride. See more

18.01.2022 Two years I go I was out capturing some pics of the GBC Christmas ride. Tomorrow I will don the wings and join them. Here is a blast from the past for you to make you smile. https://youtu.be/2E38kCyOlaI

18.01.2022 I know I have been quiet for a while but as some of you may be aware that my husband passed away late last year of a rare form of eye melanoma. He and his old riding mates always had breaky at Three Girls Skipping Cafe. Three Girls Skipping now have their very own cycling kit and are kindly donating any profits raised from sales of the cycling kits to the @QIMR Berghofer towards melanoma research in particular Ocular melanoma in my husbands honour. For over 3 years @QIMR Ber...ghoffer Medical Research have been collecting samples of ocular melanomas and my husband was one of those samples and have now more than 250 samples. Due to its rarity it will provide valuable research into all melanomas. They have commenced research on those samples this year. If you are interested in purchasing a kit please msg me and I will provide you with more details. Three Girls Skipping QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute

17.01.2022 These ladies are such an inspiration back on the bike again after a bad accident. Well done. #lifebehindbars #brisbanecyclist #brisbaneriverloop #cycling #gbc #gbcgirls

16.01.2022 I love my cycling family and I would be lost without all the friends I have made during the time I have been taking cycling photos and riding and when I get asked to do family portraits, it is such an honour. Recently Ian and Tricia asked me to take with family photos, these are just a couple of their favourites. Thank you so much.

16.01.2022 My husband used to ride with a group of gentlemen and their motto is "A short ride and long breakfast". They became very dear friends with him and now with me. Never any pressure to go fast it is all about enjoying the ride and most importantly the breakfast afterwards! On the weekend I did my first cycling event with them. I always admired people that participated in these huge events which always seemed intimidating to me. The "Ride of Duty" is held at Burleigh Heads in aid... of the Burleigh Heads RSL and is aimed at raising awareness that ANZACs were also represented by army cyclist corps. There was a couple things that ticked my box with this particular event. One was riding with the gentlemen and gentle ladies and the other was that it was a ride to remember people that have served like my father did in WWII. A great event and well worth participating. It was a lovely morning to be out on the bike. Thank you to Ride Of Duty and also Three Girls Skipping who make us our lovely breakfasts after our strenuous ride! Any profit raised from the sale of our 3GS jerseys made by JAKAZNI is donated to the Qld Institute of Medical Research specifically for melanoma research in honour of my husband. I have put together a little clip of the event taken with video footage from my bike cameras. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you to Mrg, Cathy, Carmen, Russell, from Leonie This clip was done with the camera on my Cycliq lights.

16.01.2022 So proud to be making donations to this very worthy cause. Thank you Three Girls Skipping for your support.

15.01.2022 A perfect morning to be out on the bike for the annual Graceville Bike Community Christmas Ride. There were Santas and Angels some were naughty and some were nice. I hope you enjoy the little clip I put together of all the fun we had. Leonie https://youtu.be/V27XIwh4vA4

14.01.2022 So tomorrow is the GBC Christmas Ride. I thought it would be a good time to share my video that I took from bike lights of last years ride for you to enjoy. Leonie

13.01.2022 This week my baby turned 30 and how lucky was I having an early morning ride and breaky with her.

11.01.2022 Dr John another of Graceville Bike Community (GBC) stalwarts. John is always happy to share his knowledge and who trusted me to not to take photos of him in his lycra but his family portraits as well. I love this image of John as it perfectly portrays his wisdom and personality. Do you agree? Merry Christmas John and Leslie and I look forward to seeing you both out on your bike in the New Year.

10.01.2022 Great morning to be out on the bike riding with my beautiful girl and and my beautiful friends and soaking up all the beauty of life, especially with the pretty jacaranda trees. So much to be grateful for. Thank you Keith for taking this pic of us.

10.01.2022 A lovely morning out on the bike with a ride to the Cafe on the Goodwill Bridge to join in the Christmas Eve celebrations. This clip was done with the camera on my Cycliq lights. https://youtu.be/mNoKPd0vs-w

09.01.2022 A few weeks I had my first ever rail trail ride. I made sure I picked a cruisey group of friends to do it with. I hired a bike from Out There Cycling which was just perfect and off I went for the day. What a great day. I thought i should share with you the little clip I put together. I hope you enjoy it and why not give it a go yourself.

08.01.2022 One of my cycling family portrait sessions. See I can take more than cycling photos on the side of the road!! Many years on my cycling friends have been with me through thick and thin. Thank you to you all for now giving me the honour of capturing your family portraits.

03.01.2022 Just a little over 18 mths ago my husband Owen and I gave Rob and Faye for their 59th birthday a gift of a tour of the Walter Taylor Bridge in Chelmer. Well sadly the four of us didnt get to do it together but last Friday I had the pleasure of doing the long awaited Walter Taylor Bridge tour with Rob and Faye. Here is the highlights of the tour. A definite must see, our guide Rick does the tour voluntary and loves to tell the story of the bridge. Do yourself a favour if you havent done the tour and live in Brisbane dont put it off. Enjoy my little vid memories of the tour. Considering I stood for hours under the bridge taking cycling shots for GBC I thought it was only in keeping to include some of my fav cycling pics.

03.01.2022 This morning I went on the Graceville Bike Community Bee Sting ride - They call it a reverse dump ride but I didnt see any dump! Anyway it was a lovely ride a little cool and dark to start off with but it was a beautiful Sunday morning to be out on the bike. Thank you to everyone who waited for me while I slowly made my way to the top of the inclines. ... I hope you enjoy the little video I put together from the camera on my bike Cycliqights. https://youtu.be/D5QfXFWaryw

02.01.2022 Remember this tribute to ANZAC a couple of years ago. What a lovely ride it was.

02.01.2022 With only my second attempt at riding at Mt Coot-Tha, first time being the front this morning I was encouraged to try the back road. Thought it would be appropriate to do a commemorative clip of my ride. Thank you to Sarah, Shari and Kristen for their encouragement and faith in my ability. https://youtu.be/XqjVVQsjBZ8

02.01.2022 Beautiful morning out on the bike.
