14.01.2022 Emergency drill practice. As part of our OH&S practices our service does a 3monthly emergency drill. This month was our "fire" practise using our special red fire blanket to indicate where the fire has started in the home... We discussed the problem of how we would get out of the house away from the fire and what we need to do to be safe. 14.01.2022 Learning letter writing and name recognition. The children have began by learning letter direction, top to bottom and circle direction. They use their name sheet as a visual, I write the letter in the sand they are attempting then stand back and let them have a go. They are given lots of verbal encouragement, high fives and the opportunity to have a go at their own interest and pace.
