19.01.2022 What's Happening at Waterford Farm.. Currently Leons been busy finishing construction on my 1st Green house in my nursery and making sure the day to day needs of the farm run smoothly. I can say I am very excited to be able to start growing a few plants out of season. I have been busy with tending to pigs and promoting our fresh local pigs now being supplied in half and full carcases cut up and boxed ready for the freezer. Honestly these boxes are great value for money. 30.5...kg of meat for $6.88kg pick up in Gunnedah is a bargain price. I have also been busy getting the nursery ready for spring my favourite time of year. Now is the time to be getting ready for Spring planting If you have a plan map it out and we will get your plants ready for you. 08.01.2022 These 2 young ladies were advertised a couple of months ago as pregnant gilts. They came to the farm pregnant so we did not know who they were pregnant too. The 2 girls have just given birth. This is both of the gilts 1st Litter and they have done a great job. Both very maternal, comfortable being in the same pen with each other and each others babies. Great with me to clean the pens out and give them a scratch. Sows will be for sale and available in 6 weeks time remated to a good quality Large white boar. If you are interested in purchasing these girls they will be $320 each.
