10.01.2022 I just received a new precious load of Tim @malfroys_wild_honey beeswax, which is cause for celebration on so many levels: One that we are lucky enough to even get our hands on this; two that his bees made it through fire and drought; and three that through Tim's honey and wax, we are given the chance to be part of the coherent life universe of Nature, where everything moves towards Wholeness, effortlessly following the path of least resistance and most life no matte...r what. / Enter the 'The Honeybee Conjecture’, an idea by Roman scholar Marcus Terentius Varro in 36BC, in which he proposes that the hexagonal structured honeycomb because of it’s smallest total perimeter was the most efficient shape to allow maximum storage using minimum amounts of wax. It was one of two competing theories on the mystery of the honeycomb, the other one being that the hexagonal honeycomb better accommodated the bee’s six feet. Varro's guess became known as the 'Honeycomb Conjecture' and puzzled mathematicians for over 2000 years, before Thomas Hales delivered mathematical proof of the theory in 1999. / As usual, Nature does not need proof, does not try to be mysterious, but creates and recreates within a coherent and conscious universe, where everything is connected, everything has meaning, everything forms a perfect unity.
