23.01.2022 An historical day for women across the world! To all women ..... be inspired, be proud, be strong x "What I want young women and girls to know is: You are powerful and your voice matters. You're going to walk into many rooms in your life and career where you may be the only one who looks like you or who has had the experiences you've had. But you remember that when you are in those rooms, you are not alone. We are all in that room with you applauding you on. Cheering your voice. And just so proud of you. So you use that voice and be strong." Kamala Harris

22.01.2022 For more than a century, Australians have paused on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to reflect on the service and sacrifice made for the freedom we enjoy today. Whilst COVID-19 restrictions have changed Remembrance Services today, I encourage everyone to pause at 11am to remember our Veteran's courage. Lest we forget.

22.01.2022 Thank you CanToo and Peter for presenting me with my certificate recognising my recent induction into the Hall of Fame. Privileged to be part of such an incredible organisation supporting Australian Cancer researchers.

05.01.2022 ATTENTION LORD HOWE ISLAND RESIDENTS It has been a privilege to represent Lord Howe Island over the past nine and a half years in the NSW Parliament and I believe that during this time as a member of the Liberal & Nationals Government much has been achieved to improve the lives of those residing in this beautiful community. 01.01.2022 As the Deputy Speaker I was pleased to be able to join with the Speaker's Panel to attend the official opening of the renamed Cooper Gallery in the Legislative Assembly. In 1856, Sir Daniel Cooper was elected as a member for the Legislative Assembly seat of Sydney Hamlets of the first Parliament of New South Wales. At its first meeting, Cooper was elected Speaker by a majority of one vote over Henry Watson Parker. History reflects that his election was not popular, but Coope...r held office with dignity and impartiality and set a standard for future speakers. Many of the rules of procedure and parliamentary conventions which were established by Sir Cooper continue to influence the Parliament today.
