20.01.2022 Thanks to a wonderful hacker the letsgohorseracing website was put out of action overnight (Tuesday). It will be up and running as soon as google clears it of any virus which we are confident will be the case within 24 hours. Apologies for any inconvenience but this was beyond our control.

19.01.2022 THE news is not good about the financial state of Racing Queensland as outlined by Racing Minister Bill Byrne in Parliament today. Read more about it on letsgohorseracing.com.au. Where are the 'spin doctors' now who were painting this great picture about the future under the Kevin Dixon leadership. More to the point where are his loyal servants, like those in Toowoomba, who were making all their threats about what was being written by conributors to the Wednesday Whinge, now that the grim picture is being painted - conspicuous by their silence of course.

13.01.2022 IT’S time the All Codes Board of Racing in Queensland took the necessary steps to bring an end to the barbaric acts that continue to dog greyhound racing in this State. The all-powerful authority should order the Queensland Greyhound Board to offer a $1 million reward for information leading to the conviction of those responsible for the 55 carcasses found dumped near Bundaberg. And as outrageous as it might sound, this $1 million should be taken from the prize-money pool for greyhound racing in Queensland. Someone in the industry knows something about this disgusting act and unfortunately the one factor that rules all in racing is money. See more at letsgohorseracing.com.au

12.01.2022 THE more I read about these alleged disgusting practices in greyhound racing - the latest involving live baiting with harmless kittens, the more I wonder how this was allowed to happen for so long. Now that they are handling those allegedly responsible for these cruel deeds, here's hoping the powers that be dispense with the officials who oversaw the sport and apparently turned a blind eye to concerns being raised by Animal Liberation Queensland and the RSPCA. It's time for the Minister to dispense with the Boards running racing in Queensland and start with a clean sheet.

09.01.2022 At last the letsgohorseracing website is up and running, cleared by google of the virus inherited courtesy of a not so friendly hacker. These things happen. The Wednesday Whinge is finally there on a Thursday - a day later but better late than never - with an interesting lead about investigations into links between an alleged 'sting' on UBET by commission agents acting on behalf of a leading Australian punter. Read all about it.
