25.01.2022 Monitor Cct, Dakabin stage one before and after photos. I use Haymes paints generally but due to a slight name typo error I had to go grab some Living Proof Silk from Taubmans for the walls. 24.01.2022 Back out at Wights Mountain Rd, Samford. I’ve been coming back every year starting in 2014 when I completely painted inside and out. Just back this year to re-coat this Deck with Wattyl Weatherguard water based decking oil which is the product used every year.... 17.01.2022 Graham St, Strathpine. After brushing the windows out in undercoat last week, yesterday was spray day! Sprayed out the doors and frames with some Taubmans 3 in 1 (primer, sealer and undercoat) first up yesterday morning. While they were drying I then brushed out some Haymes water based satin enamel to all the windows and cleaned the spray unit out ready for the satin enamel to be sprayed once the doors and frames had dried. 12.01.2022 Before and after shots of Stage 3 on Hartree Crt, Bracken Ridge Q. Bed 1 and walk in robe were covered in Nicotine stains which is caused from smoking. Nicotine will change the colour of paint by bleeding through the water based top coats changing the finished look.... To prevent any of the Nicotine issues, I used Haymes Ultra lock which is a solvent based stain sealer. After a full coat of Ultralock was applied to all areas (excluding frames and skirtings), normal top coats could be applied with no issue. Peeling paint was scraped and filled, cracks were taped and set, window reveals were caulked to the aluminium frames to tidy them up, everything sanded, dusted ready to go, enamel work has been washed with vinegar solution and will be undercoated tomorrow. 10.01.2022 Garage at Taylor St, Wavell Heights. After completing the inside work the garage was added last week and then Friday the floor was too. The owner prepped the floor and purchased a tin of Concrete Colour Systems, Colour Master Sealer from a shop near him. It is clear but we added a tint to it to give it its colour.
