Since 2013, there has been nothing we look forward to more each year than opening up the gates to our kaleidoscopic playground, watching you all flood in filled with the anticipation of a day filled with food, friends, music and fun. We trust you’ll hold onto your past memories with us and join us again in 202...2. If you have purchased a charter bus ticket please read below for more details on where to catch your bus:... Buses will now be departing from and returning to SOUTHERN CROSS STATION. Please head to the BUS TERMINAL and find BAYS 55-58. There you will find Melbourne On The Move staff to check your tickets, please have them ready. The MOTM staff will also indicate which bus to board, please note your bus number DOES NOT represent which bus you get on, so if youd like to ride with your friends be sure to arrive with them. DONT MISS YOUR BUS! Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your departure time to avoid missing your bus, it will not wait for you. NO ALCOHOL IS PERMITTED ON BUSES. 02.01.2022 Sustainability & Environment at Let Them Eat Cake NYD 2020 We are incredibly fortunate to call Werribee Park Mansion Grounds our home, a residency that has been held for seven beautiful years. Its one of the most stunning spaces in Australia and just like our entire planet, we must never take it for granted. Whether youre an LTEC veteran or joining us in 2020 for the first time, there are a few simple things you can do to help everyone when celebrating New Years Day at our ...festival: Please use the portable toilets provided at all times. Do not climb on/sit in the trees, many of them are heritage listed. Use the bins! This is so incredibly important. If you see someone dropping rubbish, kindly tell them it isnt okay. When entering and exiting the festival, please be mindful of our neighbours and local residents. Do not for any reason enter our neighbours yards. Remember, public urination is an official offence. To ensure we give our site and planet the best possible chance against litter and waste, as a festival we are applying the following measures: We have stopped the use of single-use plastic bottles via the implementation of water in aluminium cans, and extended the availability of free water on site. We have also removed all plastic bags and plastic straws/cutlery/plates in exchange for compostable alternatives. All drinks will be served in cans or compostable cups, and there will be a can return/recycling system where patrons are able to return their empty cans for a voucher to use at the bars. Disposable single-serving sachets (like those used for sauces or sugar) are not supplied or available anywhere on-site, and we are working with suppliers to reduce the packaging that products are delivered in at the event. Events like Let Them Eat Cake, in a space like Werribee Mansion dont happen every day. Please be responsible on the mansion grounds, well be back with some more info in the days to come. x
