24.01.2022 Q+A from our Rising Star! Q: How are you finding learning to estimate after completing your trade in spray painting? A: I am enjoying the new challenges and being able to use my knowledge that I gained painting and showing that through my quoting.... Q: What are you enjoying about your new role? A: The thing that I'm enjoying most about my new role is the relationships I'm being able to have with customers and helping them throughout the process here at LSR. Q: What are the differences that stand out the most to you from each role? A: They are both very different fields; one requires physical skill and the other requires mental skills but being able to intertwin them into one will help build the quote to what it needs to follow the processes and get the vehicle back to the customer. Q: What advice would you give to someone wanting to progress in a different role within their workplace? A: The more you are willing to learn and grow and be open to change within the company the further you will succeed. Women in the industry excelling in a male dominated trade is truely inspiring!

Here is a small bit of history behind LSR: In 1980, Ian Leven opened Ian Leven Smash Repairs in Mudgee, with a total of four employees! ... 2009, Simon purchased the family business and renamed it Leven Smash Repairs. 2016, Purchased the largest smash repair shop in Dubbo & opened the second LSR location. 2020, the LSR team has now grown to 50+ employees!
