14.01.2022 As from tomorrow 9th December, Celebrants have been advised marriage in Australia will now be defined in the Marriage Act 1961 as the union of two people to the exclusion of all others, voluntarily entered into for life. Same-sex couples now have the same rights under the Marriage Act as all other couples. As from the 9th December Same Sex couples will be able to fill in the Notice Of Intended Marriage (NOIM) form, that will then enable them to be married one month or m...ore, after this form is signed. (Signed on the 9th December married on the 9th January 2018 etc.) I am excited that loving Same Sex couples can now celebrate, and formalize, the love they share. I am in receipt of the updated documentation required from the 9th December as per the Attorney Generals Department, and welcome inquiries from couples for further information on how to make their marriage a reality. 07.01.2022 Broach Bouquet - are they for you? With many brides into DIY and many being craft handy, the idea of crafting your own wedding bouquet is becoming popular. If you like the idea of your wedding bouquet being 'everlasting" these can be made from a mixture of flowers and broaches, or as some of these are, from broaches only. If you love the idea but do not have the skills to do so yourself, they can be purchased ready made - you will find lot's of information on the Internet. Let me know what you think!
