23.01.2022 Nice early ride for ‘Dee I Cee’ before the heat this morning This guy is a NZ import and was trained by some big names (Gai Waterhouse, Ciaron Maher, David Eustace & Lindsey Smith). He won just over $293k from 28 starts and is a Listed race winner & place runner (Premiers Cup & Australia Day Cup) and a Group race place runner (Newcastle Gold Cup). He also raced (albeit unsuccessfully) over hurdles at the end of his flat racing career. These days he’s living the good life and adapting to another career under saddle.

12.01.2022 Flair was an absolute delight to show again today at the AHAA WA State Show She got better and better with each class and went home with State Champion Ridden Part-bred Andalusian and won both her Prelim and Novice dressage tests with scores of 71.4% and 72.32% respectively. I’m not really sure who stands back after hacking away (with the result being the top photo) and thinks ‘yep, that’s a masterpiece, my best work yet’ and puts down tools Unfortunately there wasn’t much wiggle room left length-wise and it was a bit difficult to take out the heavyness/bluntness without losing more of the length, but at least it’s more even now and will be a better canvas next time round #StepAwayFromTheScissors
