25.01.2022 Outings with clients are incredibly special. Recently this young man enjoyed a visit to the Kawana Fire Station and Firecom Centre. His Your Home Care support worker told us the following: "We were shown the equipment on a Fire Appliance and received a general explanation of how things work. We then visited the Fire Communications Room (Firecom) where we met the staff and witnessed firsthand a ‘000’ call come through and appliance dispatched. Our client was so happy to be a...ble to see this first hand. "We then went for a drive to Coolum Beach and found an interesting shop called ‘The Shop‘ and we enjoyed takeaway drinks at the beach across the road and found many enjoyable and fun things to talk about. When you become a Support Worker you will make a positive difference in someone's life. Our next course starts on the 14th of September. Contact Josie on 0437 885 219 to find out how you can take the first step towards an exciting new career that offers variety and job security.

16.01.2022 Our homes are important to all of us and we just love that this very special client has sent us a picture that she is happy for us to share. As a result of Your Home Care’s Support Co-ordination and with the help of Your Home Care Support Workers, our client was able to purchase a new Sofa and Rug that she is so happy with that she wanted to show it off. We love it as well and are so delighted to be able to help clients like this lovely lady to make sure their homes are spaces they can be proud of.
