18.01.2022 Light the sky with a lantern that has your loved ones name on it, and a message and then release it at night! This could be done for a Life Celebration, or on another special occasion. Be sure to check if you need a permit to release a sky lantern and do not release the lantern where it is a potential fire hazard.

16.01.2022 If your loved one was a prolific traveller, frame a large map of the world and put in pins for each city or town they visited! You can also attach a small label to the pin with the date of the visit. You can include photographs from their travels as a border for the map. Each photograph could be numbered, and correspond to a numbered pin.

Bury the memory capsule in the ground with a plan to dig it up in the future. The burial of the memory capsule can also be included in a Life Celebration.

06.01.2022 Dedicate an area in your backyard for a memory garden. Plant your loved ones favourite flowers or plants from their garden. If your loved one was cremated, you could mix a small amount of the ashes into the soil. You could make a small pathway of stepping stones. On these stepping stones you could inscribe special dates or quotes that remind you of your loved one.
