13.01.2022 There has been some incorrect reporting in the media about physiotherapy and the next wave of shutdowns. We will remain open. Physiotherapy has an important role to play in helping reduce the load on our countries Emergency Departments and General Practices, by seeing people with musculoskeletal injuries that are not sick. We are offering home visit consults to eligible people in the local area at no additional cost and we are soon to role out telehealth options for people wh...o want to completely avoid direct contact, or are too isolated. This is a challenging time for everyone and we thank you for your support and hope to do our bit to help those that need us get through the challenges ahead.

09.01.2022 Thank you! To all our clients who have continued to put their health in our hands during these difficult times we extend our sincerest gratitude. We are doing everything we can to ensure that your visits to our clinic are as safe as possible. Some changes have been disappointing, like removing the knitting from the waiting room, but are in the best interest of the greater community. We would like to think we always provided a clean clinic to visit, but we have redoubled our e...fforts to make sure we are as clean as is physically possible. For those of our clients who are concerned about being out during the COVID-19 pandemic, we understand. We are working on being able to offer home visit and telehealth options, so please contact us even if you don't want to come to the clinic and we can work on providing a solution that works for you. Remember that being active is good for your health and immunity, so try to find ways to keep active in your home. Go walking, running, kayaking or cycling if you are not in forced isolation, just avoid heavily attended public spaces. Be safe, be active and stay healthy!

05.01.2022 Hey everyone! PATIENTS WANTED! At Lifecare Willetton, we are currently looking for patients for 2 qualified physiotherapists who are undertaking postgraduate ...studies in musculoskeletal physiotherapy through Curtin University. Any and all are welcome, especially if you have been putting up with injury/persistent pain as this is a great opportunity to have it assessed and treated thoroughly and with up to date management strategies. These will be heavily discounted health rebates can also be claimed. The initial consultation would be approximately 90 minutes and follow ups 30 minutes. Every consultation will be completed by the post-graduate student, under the supervision of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Richard Abrugiato (me!) Appointments will be available between 2-5pm Monday and Wednesdays from the 2nd of September.
