15.01.2022 Dear valued patients, Northern Osteopathy has been closely monitoring the current situation and developments with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), while still making sure to keep our operations and environment as hygienic as possible in compliance with current professional standards. Your wellbeing is our utmost priority. We kindly ask that if you have been travelling overseas within the last 2 weeks, or if you have been experiencing flu-like symptoms, please call us so that we ca...n reschedule your appointment for another time. We would also like to ask that patients wash their hands or use hand sanitizer regularly. Hand sanitizer is available for use in the reception area at the clinic. They are designed to ensure the safety of our patients and of our staff. Increased practices that have been put in place at the clinic include: The use of disposable gloves as required during your treatment Change of bed linen, sanitation of treatment table and face holes Staff hand hygiene before and between patients Also having the professional cleaning of the clinic increased Although online and media commentary on COVID-19 continues to raise concerns for those in our community, public health authorities advise us that the currently the risk of COVID-19 in Western Australia is low. 10.01.2022 REMEDIAL MASSAGE IS BACK!!! Nisha and Virginie are now available for massage appointments four days of the week. Please call the clinic to book an appointment with them or book online at www.northernosteopathy.com... With the easing of restrictions into Phase 2 in WA, we are pleased to inform you that we have opened more appointment times throughout the week. Philippa and Emily will be working on alternate Saturdays as well as weekdays. Matt will also be open for limited appointments on Saturday afternoons for the moment. We will however still continue to follow strict hygiene codes as before within the clinic. Please be aware, to follow social distancing regulations, we require patients to wait in their cars or outside the clinic until it is time for their appointment. 07.01.2022 WE ARE RE-OPENING - BUT SLOWLY AND IN STAGES WHY are we re-opening?... The Federal Health Department has deemed all Allied Health practices as an essential service. And thus as part of the Allied Health Community, osteopaths can help patients avoid unnecessary visits to their GPs and hospitals, to reduce their burden so they can focus on screening and treating COVID-19 patients. We are hoping to safely provide continuity of care and be available to our patients to support them as best we can in this unprecedented period. We have had an influx of patients enquiring when will we be reopening and how soon. What will the staged opening look like? We will open half days initially with lots of time allowed to clean and sanitise the clinic rooms and reception area between treatments. More safety measures will be put into place and more information on this will follow as well as be available at the clinic. Online booking will still be available but you will be called for screening and safety procedure information after booking. With the staged return we hope to maintain extremely high hygiene standards for the safety of our patients, practitioners and our families. 04.01.2022 Good afternoon everyone, just a message from Dr Sweatal Shah (osteopath) about the clinic and how we will operate moving forward: _________________________________________________________________________ "It has taken me a lot of time and tears to get to this point. We just celebrated our 5th birthday on Monday 23rd March. However after much thought for the health, safety and wellbeing of our patients, staff and families we have taken the decision to make today our last day.... We will be running a skeletal emergency clinic 3 days a week should you find yourself in trouble and need some help. We will also be here at the end of a telephone is you just need to have a chat and are unsure about anything. We all appreciate all your support over the years and are here to support you in anyway we can. We are currently working on providing TeleHealth consultations.
