15.01.2022 We understand that our clients and community are experiencing many emotions due to everything that is happening in our world. At Lifecare Cottesloe and Lifecare Claremont, we wanted to take the time to inform you of what we are doing to keep you and our team safe. While our services are operating as business as usual, we have increased our clinic cleaning and sanitisation measures. This includes regular and targeted cleaning of the clinic, equipment and common areas (incl...uding hand rails and door knobs) and meticulous personal hygiene for clinicians including hand washing, sanitising during and after sessions, and the disinfecting of personal spaces (desks, keyboards, phones, etc). In addition to this, all clinical staff will be staying home should they exhibit any cold symptoms or have returned home from overseas travel. During this time, we ask that our clients respect our team and stay home should they be experiencing any cold symptoms. If you are concerned or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us as we are here to help. See more

07.01.2022 What a week guys!! But we are still here!! Its been a surreal week to say the least and were doing everything we can to continue providing the safest and highest quality care to our valued clients. There is a lot of uncertainty as to what the next few months will hold and our thoughts go out to those who are doing it tough through this unprecedented time.... A few things weve been working on this week Our physiotherapists are now all working purely as morning or afternoon practitioners, in isolated rooms, so there is no crossover throughout day as a means of infection control. We have rearranged our waiting room to provide adequate social distancing and minimise contact We are encouraging all of our clients to use contactless payment at reception if possible We are in the process of setting up Telehealth so that we can provide confidential online consultations to our clients. There is a lot we can offer you without you having to leave the comfort of your own home. Its important that we all maintain our fitness, strength and mental health during this period. We can assist you to adapt your normal exercise routine to suit the new physical distancing rules. Finally, it is important to know that the physical distancing rule DOES NOT apply to health services, therefore we will continue to provide services of the safest and highest quality of care. Thank you for continuing to trust us with your health. Together we will all get through this.

06.01.2022 Gyms are reopening and @afl is back! To ensure we dont see people injuring themselves please remember some simple tips when back exercising. 1. Have a training plan whether it be football, running or cycling. 2. Look to reduce your gym weights by around 30% especially if you took a complete break during COVID. ... Remember to listen to your body and if you need some tips, get in touch! See more

01.01.2022 We are so grateful to our patients, family, friends and fellow health professionals who have continued supporting us through these times - we know full well how hard this pandemic has been on some of you. Things are starting to improve within WA but we will continue to maintain our high hygiene standards to protect ourselves and the community. Once again thank you all so much and we hope we can give you a hug or shake your hands in person to express this gratitude in the near future.
