25.01.2022 Early 6am rise. Heavy day of rain heading up to mossman,1hr+ drive for the mega 8hr hike through rain and leeches to experience devils thumb. Well that's what some of the life climbers did. Congratulations Marty Webb, Stacey Jerome, Sherri Hodges and Colin Moon for your massive effort, I look forward to seeing your photos. While sensible ones had a mid morning rise, relaxing breakfast, steady 1hr+ drive. Photo time at the devils thumb sign. Then return to port Douglas, well, photo explains reason.

23.01.2022 The climb, the sweat and the booboos. Hike day two Crystal Cascades to Copperload Dam and back. Great fun that got me really thinking about my 13 Challenges for 2019. Tomorrow, Red Arrow repeater starting at 4pm water fountain at the bottom. .

20.01.2022 And another one done and dusted. Thanks for being a good sport Sherri. Lambs Head, leeches, heavy cloud and rain included . Hands and fingers were numb for a good 2 or 3 out of the 5 hours.

18.01.2022 4 red arrows from the bottom to tip top and back four times in 1.5hrs. Absolutely knackered. I must be getting old, but can't admit to that yet.

01.01.2022 Hi Hikers. There are two suicide fundraising events coming very soon, 6th September a Gala Charity dinner - another opportunity to dress up to the nines, and a charity 42k walk in the out back 27-30th September. I'm aiming to get a team of 6 to12 lifeclimers together for each event. And, as our last awareness and fundraiser, who would like to buy a t-shirt or singlet, raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention. See options below.
