24.01.2022 Christian Surfers is one of our local missions partners. Here’s a great story they recently shared with us: A young man came along to CS one week after being invited by a mate. He found a community within CS Coffs that he hadn’t experienced before. Within that community he was introduced to Jesus on a deeper level, and had the people around him that could encourage him on his walk with God as a young man. He has now stepped into a place of leadership amongst our team and is c...urrently undergoing a biblical training course through Christian Surfers Australia Leadership Training School. He attributes CS with establishing him where he is today, in his relationship with Jesus, his group of friends and his surfing ability. This is just one of the incredible organisations that serve our local communities, and we have the opportunity to contribute to their impact through our One Week for Eternity Offering this weekend! 23.01.2022 2020 has not been the easiest year for anyone, but often, those hit hardest are those who were already doing it tough to begin with. Under the Tree is a special way we get to love our neighbours - and step forward in our mission - to work for the peace and well-being of our community. Bless a family who’s doing it tough by buying a children’s gift to the value of $30. These toys will be made available to our LifeHouse Care pantry shoppers to purchase for $3. Under the Tree will bring smiles to children’s faces this Christmas, but it also gives our pantry shoppers the gift of dignity and ownership - being able to choose quality gifts for their children in an affordable way. - Simply drop your new and unwrapped gifts to one of our Op-Shop locations, or bring it to a service this Sunday.

16.01.2022 Exciting news: our Northern Beaches Community Cafe is re-commencing next Wednesday (July 1st)! The Community Cafe serves a free two course meal for anyone in the local area, from 5.30pm every Wednesday evening. In this video we hear from Henk Verhoef, Community Cafe Team Leader, who shares the why behind what the team does week-in, week-out: ‘I love to be able to serve the Community we live in. It’s such a great place to show God’s love for everyone regardless of who you are,... your background, your origin etc. God loves all. It is so good to be able to do this with all the Community Cafe volunteers. Like minded people.’ - We still have the opportunity to give to our One Week For Eternity offering this week. The centre aims to empower women by ensuring that they are fully informed, supported and encouraged throughout their pregnancy. 12.01.2022 ‘Chaplaincy was brought about by a sudden and unexpected call one which has proven time and time again God’s faithfulness when we step out in obedience. Chaplaincy is the ministry of presence and that looks a little different every day. We are community based with a tendency to be placed in areas and circumstances that many will not. As a school chaplain, I have the honour of supporting some of our local kids and their families through life’s challenges and celebrating with... them on the mountain tops. We often talk about theological reflection and when I consider where God is in a moment, space or time, I see him with those who are distanced from society. That is where I, as a chaplain, want to go’ - Karli Hewitson - Chaplaincy is part of our schools ministries, alongside scripture teaching. 06.01.2022 How good was it to hear an encouragement from Dani from our Moree location in our weekend service? ‘I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who's been praying for rain out here. After three years of drought, I can very proudly tell you that we’ve had 400mm of rain this year. We have planted our entire farm, so that is an absolute blessing and praise Jesus for that.’ Thanks for your prayers church, let’s keep going!

On Sunday the 12th and 19th of July we will be opening the doors of our Coffs Campus to join our 9:30am online service. Then, from the 26th of July we will be launching live services at 9am, 10:30am and 5pm. An online service will continue to be available from our 9am service on Sunday. In order for us to gather within the current Covid safe req...uirements, It is essential that each member of your family who will be attending the service is registered, including children (that’s right, LifeHouse Kids will also be available for these services!)
