25.01.2022 Here are some suggestions: eat well, be active, take-a-break, drink sensibly, keep in touch, ask for help. Remember, our mental health is just as important as our physical health. If you need support, please reach out to us. We’re here 24/7 on 13 11 14. You can also text with us nightly, 6pm midnight (AEDT) on 0477 13 11 14.

23.01.2022 We want YOU on our team as we Push for Better Mental Health this June! We’re proud to be participating in Australia’s largest fitness-based mental health event, The Push-Up Challenge, and excited to announce that registrations for the 2021 event are now open. Complete 3,318 push-ups from 1 - 25th June to help us put the spotlight on the number of suicides in Australia in 2019. It’s a fun and unique way to get fit, have fun, learn about mental health, and raise vital funds for... Lifeline. Take on the challenge yourself, or do it with teammates, and join us as we #pushforbetter mental health to reflect, remember, support and advocate for mental health and suicide prevention. Learn more or sign up now: http://ow.ly/Sg8F50Ehhr4 If you or someone you know is in need of support, please call us on 13 11 14 (24/7).

19.01.2022 Thanks to all that have completed the survey and shared it. We are hoping to have enough responses by the end of December to close the survey so we just need some more responses from our community (in particular males) so feel free to share again amongst those you know.

18.01.2022 Our virtual garden is still blooming and will continue on the lead up to World Mental Health Day on 10th October 2020. Each flower that you can choose from has a different meaning. Take a look and see which one you would plant at www.outoftheshadows.org.au

04.01.2022 Wow!!!! What a night! We can not thank the Limestone Coast Community enough for the support we had had for The Truck Factory Full Monty - Limestone Coast! In th...e short 4-5 weeks our very small committee members pulled together a great night. Our aim from the beginning was to open up conversations about mental health, encourage others to check on their friends and family and possibly raise some funds along the way. We are so grateful to everyone that joined us, in particular to our speakers for their openness and honesty. The added bonus is that we have together raised approximately $50,000 - all of which will stay in our community! With out our sponsors this would not have been possible so please support these awesome businesses! To our Monty’s a huge congratulations and thank you - your willingness to bare all (literally) is incredibly brave & we thank you for bringing some fun to what had been a challenging year for everyone! 02.01.2022 CENTRAL HUB LOCATION FOR LIMESTONE COAST MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES Lifeline South East is conducting a study to determine the need for a central mental health hub ...in the Limestone Coast. The proposed hub would provide a free service for anyone experiencing mental health challenges. It would be a first point of call to access face to face support, information and assistance in navigating local mental health services. Please support this project by completing the anonymous survey below and share it with others. We need as many responses as possible to gauge whether this is a viable project and appreciate your support. https://forms.microsoft.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx Picture credit: business2community

02.01.2022 Hi all, we've had a great response so far to this survey but it's going a little quiet and we still need more people in the Limestone Coast to complete the survey. Please do and also share it around. Thanks.

02.01.2022 This survey ends on December 31st - if you haven’t already -please consider doing the survey
