16.01.2022 Pool of Siloam & Lyrebird Dell walk near Leura... a cool oasis, a waterfall, a beach with stepping stones, ferns & gums. With many of the walks closed in the Blue Mtns due to last summer’s bushfires we were excited to discover this walk, not too difficult & plenty to enjoy.

07.01.2022 North Head walking track (Manly)... started from opposite the Australian Bronze Gallery & followed the path & signs to the Third Quarantine Cemetery... an easy walk of around 40 minutes (out & back), unless you're like me & spend lots of time taking pics of the bush & views :) Here's a few pics from today & last Spring.

05.01.2022 Maitland is not a place I'd imagined visiting until a good friend recently suggested we visit Morpeth & Maitland (just 15 minutes apart). We were so impressed with the number of beautifully restored historic buildings in Maitland, so if you love Australian historical architecture I recommend a visit to the area (will share some pics later of the quaint village of Morpeth).
