22.01.2022 We love to hear how our participants are progressing. Ken started the Life! program in late 2020 and is feeling much healthier. Here are some of his strategies for eating well. 1. At the supermarket using the FoodSwitch app (https://www.foodswitch.com.au/#/home) and finding healthier alternatives without having to really compromise on flavour. 2. Really reading food labels - the unit on this in the Life! program is so helpful. Sometimes they’re hard to read but I just take a... picture on the phone and zoom in. 3. 19.01.2022 The Culturally And Linguistically Diverse (CALD) Life! program is delivered as a group course (currently online due to COVID-19) and supports participants to reduce their risk of developing type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. We are looking for health professionals who speak Chinese, Vietnamese or Arabic to deliver the CALD program in 2021.
