06.01.2022 A clinical trial is currently underway at the University of Queensland to test a new early intervention approach, called ENACT, that aims to improve outcomes for parents and babies. Mothers currently pregnant with a baby who has a first-degree relative diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (i.e. baby’s parent or sibling) may be eligible to participate. Families will be randomly allocated to take part in ENACT or to receive care as usual. All families will receive a report from a developmental paediatrician detailing their child’s 12-month developmental assessment free of charge. To find out more, please visit https://qcprrc.centre.uq.edu.au/project/enact, or contact project officer Kavindri Kulasinghe at [email protected] or on (07) 3069 7527.
