17.01.2022 Yesterday three of our Home Owners, Graham, Jan & Neil filled our Community Bus with all the very generous food donations LBW Home Owners donated for The Transit soup & food kitchen. They met with volunteers Dot & Lisa featured in the 3rd photo attached. The volunteers were overwhelmed by the generosity of the LBW community. This food will be distributed out to very needy Victorians who have been struggling due to the Covid-19 Lockdown in Victoria, hopefully providing them with a nicer Christmas. If you have further donations to give, we are still collecting donations until Wednesday 25th of November.

12.01.2022 Today we commemorated Rememberance Day with a minutes silence at 11am. Our amazing home owners raised $1,113.05 for the RSL through poppy sales. It was lovely seeing so many people wearing their poppies at our commemoration service. This was followed by Glenda McSwain reciting the Ode, then we awarded Faye Dowling and John Estub with medals for walking the most laps in the Wellness Walkathon. Faye and John then cut the red ribbon at the rear of our club house signifying ...the exciting re-opening of our club house after so many months of Covid-19 lockdown. Home owners enjoyed morning tea put on be Peter and Anna and served to them by our LBW Social Club. Thanks heaps to all those that made this event a success. It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces after such a long lock down.

01.01.2022 Today marks the last day of our Lifestyle Berwick Waters PCFA "the-LONG-run" team's fund raising for Prostate Cancer. We celebrated by dressing in blue and walking the circuit of LBW. Our amazing team raised $5,565 over the month of September our amazing team collectively did over 1,000 KMs either walking or bicycling. Lifestyle Communities have promised to match this donation $ for $ to help the future research into treatment and cures for Prostate Cancer.
