25.01.2022 Just a quick note that our term 2 tennis classes are back in full swing this week! We actually started back last week but did have a few public holidays thrown in there Our term 2 classes will run from now until Saturday 29th June, so there are still 9 weeks left in this term. I want to welcome all of our current/previous students and parents back, it's good to see you all out on-court again!! ... I also want to acknowledge our new students, as we are happy to have you on-board and happy that you've chosen to start/continue your tennis development with us. Looking forward to seeing you all on the courts this week and in the future -Be great! Patrick Raducanu, Director/Head coach, Lifestyle Tennis Academy

22.01.2022 A quick video of our Joey class going through their serves

14.01.2022 Week 2 of Term 4 getting underway today.. And of course in typical Melbourne style, we've already had a mixed bag of weather during week 1. We've had everything from glorious spring weather, to high winds and what seemed like never ending rain at one stage Well done to everyone who did manage to get on-court last week and persist through the conditions. It was great to see everyone back again after the holidays. For those that did get on, I think everyone played great and g...ot the most out of their lessons which was really good to see. Looking forward to seeing everyone back again this week with the same focus + dedication Be great!

13.01.2022 A quick video of our Joey class going through their serves together

12.01.2022 Week 4 Update! Our theme at L.T.A last week for group classes was serving. Which meant we could really go deeper into this area of the game. So for today we have a quick clip of one of our "Joey classes"(which normally caters to the 5-6yrs age group), going through their serves, trying to put it all together. ... We started off with some practice on our racket swings, then ball-toss(still more work required here as you can see in the video) However overall, these boys were all serving really well and should be happy with the way they're progressing on this stroke and overall. For most children that haven't played before at this age, (and even for some of the more advanced players), serving can be the most difficult shots in the game. Usually because it requires so many different parts of the body to work and come together all at once. So many students at 5-6yrs, especially if they havnt played before, cant even serve and hit the ball on their own!! In any case, we will re-visit this area in coming weeks. Always room to keep improving and getting better. For this week though, it's time to add the volleys and smashes. Be Great - Patrick Raducanu

02.01.2022 The end of another successful week for us here at LTA! Fortunately for us we were able to use the indoors today to avoid the rain and for the most part, everyone got on-court this week. Well..pretty much everyone, sorry Tuesday classes On a more serious note, here's a picture of a player to watch out for in tournaments in future years, young Suhaan.... Here's a shot of us together on Thursday during one of our private one-on-one classes. Suhaan is developing very well technically as a player, in fact I constantly tell him I wish I had his strokes and game when I was his age. Actually I tell him weekly! Now it's a matter of continuing to build on his great foundation, while also starting to put more emphasis on some of the other areas of his game such as his: mental, tactical and later, physical. Of course for Suhaan and every other player out there, you're game is always a work in progress. You're never truly "complete". And being satisfied with your level means you will eventually fall off. Constant improvement is the only way. Even the best players in the world constantly want to find areas to improve. On that note - keep getting better. What better time than the weekend to sharpen your skills? Be great - Patrick Raducanu
