23.01.2022 Georgi most dogs have been matted after the long lockdown. Unfortunately most of them had no choice but to go short. It will only be a new fresh start and with the regular visits coming up hopefully we can start seing some beautiful coats growing and maintained

23.01.2022 Missing all my furry clients already I will start contacting you from tomorrow for rescheduling all the appointments you've missed out on durring this lockdown.

20.01.2022 Bigsy 19 weeks old

20.01.2022 Today it was finally made clear that home based dog grooming businesses will remain closed until Oct 19th. The appointments that have already been made after Oct 19th will stay in place, and I will contact the clients who are missing out again on their appointments between Sept 28th-Oct 18th inclusive, to reschedule. I am not taking any new clients this year. I will unfortunately not be able to book in any other requests, if dogs were groomed with me last time before Aug ...6th. With only less than 10 weeks left until the Christmas break from Oct 19th, i do not have any more spots left for any other dogs than the ones that have been canceled due to this lockdown. Thank you for your support and understanding! See more

16.01.2022 Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to sign this petition. More than a fight for our businesses to reopen, this is a fight for our fur babies to benefit from our much needed services as some breeds and owners are truly relying on dog groomers and it is a welfare situation for many of our clients. https://www.change.org/p/daniel-andrews-reopen-dog-grooming

15.01.2022 Here is a survey that might help dog grooming businesses open sooner than end of October... https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLScATph3Q9RntzK2xQ/viewform

13.01.2022 More info about drop off&pick up will be sent to everyone prior to the appointment.

09.01.2022 I would like to raise some awareness for those of you who may run out of patience waiting for dog grooming businesses to reopen and may attempt to try and groom your pets yourselves. There are easy to maintain breeds that you could easily DIY. Other breeds are not so easy to maintain. With so many adds I have seen lately on media about dog grooming clippers as being "cheap and easy to use"...I would like you to be aware that these are still tools that can cause injuries when used incorrectly. Even for a very experienced groomer the risk is always still there. If you attempt to clip off your dog yourself you should know that there are parts of the body that have a very high risk of being cut (the back of a dog is the easiest part to clip for anyone). Until I can see you again, stay safe and keep your pets safe too

07.01.2022 Dear clients, While we are waiting for the new announcement on Sunday, we still don't know when we can reopen, therefore I am not rescheduling any bookings just yet. With dogs that missed out on grooming appointments over the 6 weeks lockdown I have over 150 dogs to reschedule. Therefore the ones that have already got their regular scheduled appts after Sept 15th will have to stick to that. The other ones will be rebooked according to availability and the priority will have to be given according to the order of the 6 weeks as they were booked. Thank you for your patience and I really hope I get to see your beautiful pets asap!

06.01.2022 1st day of summer and I groomed Winter today

06.01.2022 Unfortunately, due to the last updates, dog grooming businesses in all Vic metro area will not be allowed to opperate until stage 3 which hopefully will be October 26th. All the appointments that need rescheduling will be on hold for now until we get a clear anwer on what date we can reopen for sure. The appointments that are set for November and December will have to stay as they are. Unfortunately we are also coming into the busiest time of the year with only 9 weeks left ...before Christmas. Therefore I will unfortunately have to prioritise all the spots for the existing regular clients only and the ones that have messaged me up to today. If I have any spots left available, I will release them the week prior to October 26th. Can't wait for all this to be over and to see all your beautiful pets again. Thank you for your understanding! I know these are hard times for everyone!

03.01.2022 Took advantage of this long lockdown and paid some quality time towards improving a few skills

02.01.2022 There are alot of Victorian groomers working together and with local MPs to create awareness for our industry which falls into a grey area. There are so many different breeds some can be easily managed but other not so much. Besides helping your dog look and feel their best, regular grooming provides you with the opportunity to give your dog a once-over, checking for lumps, bumps, ticks, fleas, matted fur, and other abnormalities, prevents skin irritations and infections that a...re caused by trapped moisture underneath a tangled or matted coats. (leaving your dog with hot spots or bruising of the dogs skin due to tightness of mats. Now the temperature has gone up dogs are left with their thick winter coats where most will be matted by now, and feeling extra hot underneath that coat. People say "Groom your own dog, it's not that hard" But we have alot of clients including elderly who are physically unable to do so. If you are someone who is affected by this please feel free to complete survey and upload a photo of your dogs conditions.

01.01.2022 These are some great news! Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and shared for us! With an overwhelming number of texts and messages I am receiving, I have to announce again that the spots will be given to the appointments that were cancelled due to this Lockdown from Aug 6th in the same order as they were initially booked in. If I have any spots left after rescheduling all of them, the priority will stay with my existing regular clients. ... Not taking any new clients this year. I already have the list of everyone who needs to be booked in next and will be contacted as i progress with the appointments starting from today. I need everyone to be patient and understanding. Looking forward to seing everyone soon!

01.01.2022 It is safer to visit your local groomer than your local supermarket. Please share, our fur babies need us! #clipandcollect
