25.01.2022 Time for the next group of images from the US trip. Today is all about The Joshua Tree National Park.

24.01.2022 So the next destination was a place called Death Valley, I never thought a desert could be so beautiful.

24.01.2022 Anzac Day was a quiet affair this year due to COVID-19, but it was by far not forgotten! The effort put in by the people of Gladstone was humbling, with people still rising and contributing to the day in their own way, some standing in their driveways with candles lit, some decorating fences and verges with poppies and words. The war memorial neither was forgotten with the odd lone person that would present to lay a wreath or hand made gesture for a loved one who just pass...ed or a tribute to a time past but not forgot, to remember the lives lost and the ones that returned but returned not the same. For those who made these sacrifices, we thank you all. Lest we forget!

18.01.2022 I know it has been a while since I posted anything, but I have been super busy with life and squeezing in as much as I could before I headed off to Sydney, that is right, this little duck is off to Sydney to live. So I thought I would leave Qld with a bit of a mixed bag of the last month. Happy Saturday to you, sit back, relax and enjoy the ride....... O and most of all be safe and kind to all around you!

17.01.2022 Things have been super busy of late and I have neglected to post anything of late, the other week I squeezed in a couple of shoots that I would love to share with you all. 16.01.2022 With so much happening, thought it was about time I bombarded you all with a bit of cuteness to take your mind off other things. Be safe everyone and remember to embrace everyday with love and happiness, find the silver lining in EVERYTHING you can.

15.01.2022 These are worrying times for many, lost jobs, unknown futures, but take 5 minutes everyday to be thankful for what you do have, remember what you have done, maybe cast yourself back to the past, now is the time to reflect, gather your thoughts and most of all be understanding and supportive of all around you. I will leave you with that thought and cast you back to the USA, not so long ago, what are you grateful for?

12.01.2022 Time to escape the madness again for 5 minutes at least. Funny how when you don't have to stay inside it is not a problem, but as soon as you are told stay inside, all I want to do is go outside. Does that make me defiant? So my escape today is back to the USA, seems so long ago now, a different world we lived in. A beautiful world that will once again require the explores to get out and do what you do best... explore! But we do not just explore, we meet the most amazing people, with stories to tell, it is these people that make those travels just that bit more enriched! Welcome to Zion, well some of Zion National Park.

08.01.2022 It has been a few weeks since I have posted anything, this is because i am now down in Sydney for a bit. There is lots to explore and many people to catch up with. The camera has come out a few times, but no processing has been done yet, once i sit for more than 5 minutes I will invite you all to come on my journey. Promising that you will get the sort version. Can't wait to post some images and the odd storey to keep you abreast of my travels Happy Monday all

08.01.2022 Sunday, not as busy as Saturday that is for sure, but check out some of these little kitties! Whoever said never work with animals certainly had not worked with munchins like these.

08.01.2022 I have finally sat for 5 mins to go through that first day on the road, a rushed trip as I was going to take off the night before. Deciding to stop at Ballina ...for the evening, I found a great little hotel/motel called #Ballinatravellerslodgemotel. Got myself sorted and headed to what I thought was the lighthouse, hmm, yup as per usual, I ended up somewhere else! Wouldn't want to let people down thinking I knew where I was going. Anyway back to the point. It was the most beautiful sunset, with the most stunning pinky/orange hues and reflections on the water and I happened to capture the below shot. After the sun had set, I drove around a bit and came to a little beach called Shelley's beach, that was gorgeous, free of people, well except for the person doing a nudie run to the water a ways from me, I walked to the waters edge to pop my tired feet in, the water was freezing but it felt good on my weary toes and invigorated me to stay for a bit longer before heading back to the motel. As I sat and tried to compose a shot with 4 trees a lady came up and started to chat, then a couple more came along who wanted to know what was I doing and what was I taking photos of at that time of the evening, all very friendly and inquisitive people. The initial lady stayed and chatted for probably 30mins maybe more, she had much to say and had lead quite the life with more adventures coming her way. Needless to say my adventure had started as always full of hope and excitement, with a U turn or two thrown in there ;-) Enough for today, time to get out to explore again. Have a super weekend all happy travels and be safe! I hope you enjoy the image that I have chosen to share today (o and the trees, not that they turned out how I imagined, but they were a part of the story).

03.01.2022 Got to play with these little munchkins today, some little kitties just don't like playing nice, but it just means they get lots more cuddles to try to persuade them to be good and others just roll over and be super cute straight up!

02.01.2022 And to finish off my day, this guy, talk about knew what he was doing, I walked into the yard/paddock and he said hello then took me around to the only patch of green grass in miles and gave me this....please meet the delightful and hansom Lewis! and the my friends is a wrap for today. Until tomorrow, have fun, enjoy what you do and be around people that make you smile

02.01.2022 What a ride 2020 has been so far and it does not look like slowing down anytime soon. From Sydney to Gladstone then off to the USA to do mammoth road trip, lots of laughs and stunning scenery. It has been months since I have posted anything, but wait the onslaught is about to start.... attached is a sample of the road trip in the US. Big shout out to Jodie Douglas for being the driver, organiser and comedian on the trip!
