25.01.2022 We always have a choice. We can choose how we behave and what intention or energy we would like to deliver to our friends, family, colleagues, and even strangers. The lovely Louise L Hay spoke of sending love to spaces before she left for the day. I like the idea that a space holds energy, and that we have an affect on our environments and the people we live and work closely with. When we bring lightness and joy its contagious. So even when it feels tricky, try to align t...o kindness, empathy and compassion. A kinesiology balance is great way to align to the all the good vibes . Feel free to PM me for more info and lets have a chat about working together.

24.01.2022 Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truely want to become. - Steve Jobs Just a little reminder, Im still here offering balances via zoom. Feel free to PM for details

24.01.2022 How exciting is it that some of the restrictions are starting to lift?!? Iso has taught me to keep being kind to myself. To keep things simple. No matter what your journey has been like the past few months, continue to show yourself compassion, reach out to people, move your body.... Remember, its the little things that can help support you in these turbulent times . #kindness #movementismedicine #selfcare #rest #iso #selfcompassion #energyhealing #adrenalhealth #rest #movement #routine #rituals #sleep #connection #reachout #keepitsimple

24.01.2022 Theres nothing like a holiday to make you realise that stopping is a gift to your body. . . . We live in a society that values a go go go mentality. But the reality is our bodies need rest. Over giving our energy depletes our physical body. If you find yourself up caught up in the busy trap, find space today to stop and connect back to yourself and your breath. Your body will thank you for it ... #stopping #holiday #rest #connectbacktoyou #holistichealth #kinesiology #reiki See more

19.01.2022 keep going, keep working at it

18.01.2022 There is always space for hope.

17.01.2022 Interesting read about why you may be feeling a little more tired than usual. Be gentle with yourself at the moment, we are living in unusual circumstances, and its ok to slow down, one task at a time. https://amp-abc-net-au.cdn.ampproject.org//article/12206924

16.01.2022 How are you feeling today? Theres a lot happening in the world at the moment and its only natural to feel a little overwhelmed. These points that Im holding are called ESR points, this is a powerful technique that helps defuse feelings of stress or overwhelm. ESR is short for emotional stress relief in kinesiology. When we hold these points it activates reflex points, which brings blood to the frontal lobes and helps calm the parasympathetic system.... 1. Place one hand across your forehead and the other at the nape of your neck. 2. Take some deep breaths Really allow yourself to breath and slow down. If Ive had a busy day, Ill often pop some music on and hold my ESR points. It helps me let go of the day and connect back to my breath and body. The mind body connection is powerful, and stress that occurs in the world, naturally has an impact on our emotional well being. So dont forget to look after yourself and others at the moment Give this simple technique a go as apart of your self care routine.

14.01.2022 BREATHE . Know that you are resilient and compassionate. You can hold space and empathise with all the things that are happening in the world, and still practise self care and self compassion. For me, going to weekly yin yoga class is my way of letting go of fears, connecting back to my breath and surrendering. ... What about you? Whats one thing that lightens your mood, or supports you? Maybe its music, or that one friend that makes you laugh. Whatever it is schedule some time for it this week

13.01.2022 Give yourself permission to rest When we rest wonderful things happen. We see and feel where our energy consistently goes, we restore our bodies, and allow space for day dreaming, love a day dream! Our body always sends big clues when its had enough. That sore neck, or maybe not sleeping as well or procrastinating at bedtime with your phone in hand (not me! ), or maybe you just feel like you cant be on. ... This week mine said to me, be nicer to yourself, be gentle with yourself, say what your boundaries are . Just a reminder, its not selfish to place your own needs first, your body wants you to place it first. So rest and breath

13.01.2022 So true . Nothing stays the same in life, we have difficult times but they pass and new beginnings take place. It can be hard to remember this when we are in the middle of it all. When we focus on the things that make us feel good/safe, can help ease our worries. Ive just started jogging (its bit more of a walk/jog/walk tbh ) but still, afterwards I feel so good. This afternoon Im making some soup, and at the moment Im listening to Bosa nova music, because it makes me f...eel happy. Its little rituals that shift our energy. Music, cleaning our space, moving our bodies, all these actions have a positive impact on your wellbeing. Its so important at the minute to stay informed, wear that mask, wash our hands, stay safe in our homes. But if you can, try not to overindulge in bad news. Fear isnt good for our immune systems. Of course staying informed is, but remember to find space for the things that make you feel calm and grounded. What makes you happy at the moment? Whatever it is try find even a little time for that today.

10.01.2022 Its ok to feel a little funky about what seems like a step back. But Vic and Melb we will get there . Keep up the self care, pop down healthy boundaries. Breath and come back all of the things that ground you. #selfcare #begentlewithyourself #centreyourself #onestepatatime #wellgetthroughthistogether

10.01.2022 Connect back to you . It’s all in you, all the answers, all the peace and acceptance, it’s all there. These points that I’m holding are called acupuncture point K27. They elevate fear and anxiety. ... Fear is a necessary emotion, it lets us know when to run, and when we need to protect ourself. It also shows us when we need to change. Overcoming our fears can transform us. These little acu points have been held frequently in online sessions lately. Take a view moments and hold these points, it’s ok to have moments where you’re fearful, it’s totally natural, and some practises like this can support you. I’m still here offering online sessions DM for more information and bookings

09.01.2022 This is a really interesting article on ways we can elevate anxiety at this time. Personally, I notice the days I commit to working out and getting out in nature I feel so much better. But also reaching out to friends and family, scheduling that walk and talk. Talking about how Im feeling and checking in on others . Basically what Im noticing is that connection and movement are key at the moment. Its totally natural to have off days or weeks in this, and to struggle. Be...ing honest about this and speaking about it, allows for some shifts and to really to hold space for yourself and others. I found this article helpful, just a little reminder to reach out, move, turn up the tunes and move your body. It boosts your mood, shifts your energy and is great for the immune system. Take care Elaine x . https://www.inc.com//to-beat-anxiety-feel-better-right-now

07.01.2022 Ahhh sleep! It's so important for our wellbeing and health. But some of us get distracted before bedtime. Do you find yourself playing with your phone, watching that extra episode on netflix, prolonging your screen time, talking, texting, answering work emails?! I've been there too! It can be sooo tempting to distract ourselves this way before bed. Isolation has taught me to slow down and focus on changing my sleep habits. Things that have helped me create healthy sleep habi...ts are; Working out. Get those steps up, or try some yoga. At the minute I'm loving F45 workouts via zoom. Ive learnt that movement is so important and helps improve our sleep quality. Step away from the phone from roughly 8.30pm. Wind down time is so important, it sends a message to the body that it's time to relax and prepare for sleep. Limit caffeine later in the day. Magnesium, there's been many studies into the benefits of magnesium, especially in regard to sleep. If youd rather not supplement, you can also add magnesium flakes to a bath and enjoy a relaxing soak before bed. Read a good book / play some relaxing music or find a nice youtube meditation. If you're like me and can procrastinate around bedtime, then start off small, implement little changes. It's ok if it takes some time. Personally when I get a good night's sleep I feel so much better. If you'd like to know a little bit more about why sleep is important, here's a link to an article about the benefits. Have a great day :) https://www.healthline.com//10-reasons-why-good-sleep-is-i

05.01.2022 BALANCE When you come to have a session in Kinesiology, we call it a balance. A balance is all about aligning you to your goals and bringing you back to your own energy. At times we can unconsciously give the things we dont want far too much energy. Theres been times in my own life Ive been giving energy in the wrong direction, but it feels so much better to focus on what feels good.... . . . What I love about working with clients is when they place energy to the things they DO want. Watching the good things grow, letting go of the obstacles, and ultimately aligning to their own. If youd like to have a chat about booking in a balance DM me, and just a reminder I work from The Botanical Store in Northcote. @thebotanicalstore #energyhealing #goalsetting #alignment #energybody #reikihealing #lightworker #holistichealing #melbournewellness #smallbizmelbourne #northcotewellness

04.01.2022 Yup . Youre human and naturally experience a range of emotions. Part of healing is acknowledging where you are at and what you are feeling, without judgement or denial. Keep holding space for yourself and acknowledging all parts of who you are. It doesnt have to be a neat little box of emotions and reactions. Youre learning and growing and doing your very best. #honouryourself #connectiontoself #healingjourney #healingenergy #heartspace #emotionalhealth #energyworker #healingsession

03.01.2022 There are days that well be productive and days that we cant be productive. And thats ok. We are working through a crisis, and everyday that will feel and look different to each and everyone of us. A lovely friend of mine said to me we dont know how people a hundred years ago in the last pandemic coped. This is all so new to us ... Whatever your situation is, maybe youre looking for work, or home schooling and also working from home. Maybe youre caring for someone, or struggling mentally, physically or emotionally. Or perhaps youre on the front line helping all of us. lets just acknowledge that you are doing your very best and you cant be productive all the time, not right now. Keep reaching out and talking about where youre at, were all in this together . So lets be kind and gentle with ourselves and others. We are all on the same side

02.01.2022 I stood in the supermarket aisle this week, empty pasta aisle, empty toilet paper aisle and I thought, fear is contagious. We have a conversation with one person, and they have one with the next, and before you know it the collective is thinking and feeling the same thing. The thing is, we are so much more resilient then we give ourselves credit for. This is not to say stick our heads in the sand and only think positive thoughts because of course difficult things happen in... the world and were human and we feel a range of emotions. When I stood in the supermarket aisle there was only boxed tissues left. An elderly man pointed and jokingly said I think these ones are faulty and thats why they left them! I chuckled and said yeah maybe, but it looks like well need to take a leap of faith We both laughed and picked up a box and pottered off. This is just a little reminder, lets combat our fears with kindness, humour and courage .

02.01.2022 ROUTINE I remember reading a David Bowie interview and he was asked what do you consider your greatest achievement? He replied discovering morning A small change to our routine and rituals can shift our energy in positive way. Routine and rituals support us, even on the days that were tired, busy and juggling it all.... As the weather shifts, ask yourself and your body - Where can I place my energy to support myself? - What small changes in my routine may have a positive impact on my day and my energy? Ive been discovering my mornings and adding a bit more yoga, some happy music and making sure I sit down to eat my breakfast, just some little routines that set the tone for my day. #postiveenergy #selflove #boundaries #routine #ritual #selfcare #selfresponsibility #energymedicine #lightlark #yoga #breathe #calm #kinesiology

01.01.2022 Its natural that all of this uncertainty can make us feel anxious or emotional. I found this really helpful in regard to whats within our control and what is out of our control at this time. Keep honouring what you are feeling today, in this moment. Reach out to your loved ones, your GP, psychologist, healers, the essential services and the helplines if you need them. Connection is key. Im still here offering distance balances. I know it can feel like a lot of work at ...times shifting your energy. Lockdown is absolutely a roller coaster of emotion. Last week I had my own session, and I realised how much I was holding my breath! After the session I felt by acknowledging my vulnerability I was able to come back to my self care routines. It felt so good to breath, it helped me come back to yoga, and dreaming and all the good things. We are all going to have good days and bad in this process, it reminds me a lot of grief. We meet every part of ourself in grief. But please know theres always help out there. DM if youd like to know more about remote sessions. Im here . Im also sharing Lifelines number, its 24 hour crisis support. Youre not alone in this process. Lifeline 24/7 crisis support 13 11 14
