11.01.2022 The Troop joined the Burra pony club for Dressage and presented a Skill at arms demonstration. Thanks for your hospitality and a great weekend.

09.01.2022 We are pleased to announce we have been successful in securing a grant under the Veterans SA State Grant programme to kick off a new project. We will be using these funds to contribute to the research and purchase of 4 complete SA Mounted Rifles Boer War uniforms to enable us to pay homage to the mounted contingents of South Australians who fought in Africa and laid the foundations for the Australian Lighthorse. As far as we know we will be only be one of a handful of curre...nt Boer War memorial mounted sections in Australia and it will be an honour to be able to represent them at commemorative events. Stay tuned for updates on our progress. We greatly appreciate and acknowledge Veterans SA’s support in this endeavour.

03.01.2022 What do you do when your kit is all clean and polished on a beautiful day? Go on a main road ride into Strath and dirty it all up of course. Alby was pretty good, had to take a couple of goes at getting past the pub corner with all the traffic but did it eventually, so he got his reward.
