07.01.2022 A few more photos from my own garden just on dusk. Just 6 months after planting it is awash with colour from the agastache, kniphofia, westringia, euphorbia & even the echinacea are starting to emerge. . . . This project was about transforming a typical, drab suburban front yard into a colourful, slightly wild garden that attracts insects, lizards & birds. . . . It was the other half of @plantsnshitpodcast @stephenreadlandscape who I recall suggested I should dig out my lawn & plant a few perennials. Thanks for the tip

06.01.2022 Naturalistic garden on dusk... . The warm evening, bird life, insects & minimal traffic noise make this small garden somewhat enticing. It’s calm, still & peaceful. It’s a place to reflect on the day that was while contemplating what the next may bring. . Gardens are important, design matters & a connection to nature is vital for your health & wellbeing.... . 1/2/5 : Mixed #echinacea from @antique_perennials 3 : Poa poiformis from @sa.grown 4 : #calamagrostiskarlfoerster from @antique_perennials .
