25.01.2022 It's NAIDOC week and Lil' Peeps OT for Kids would like to share this resource with you. For thousands of years the Aboriginal People have used symbols to communicate. Many of these can be seen around us today in the signage and symbols we continue to use. The Peggy Lego program breaks down the letters of the alphabet into patterns and shapes, so many of which can be found in these ancient Aboriginal symbols.... How many can you spot?

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone For all of those who are self isolating, or preparing for potentially imminent school closures, I have put together "TAKE HOME OT" resources and they are now available on my website for free. This is by no means complete, but you may find some helpful resources and links in event of school closures. There is a link on each page to web resources and information, videos, handouts and games or activities. I will add to this over time, so perhaps bookmark my website... and keep coming back to see what is new. Categories are Wellbeing, gross motor, fine motor and handwriting - and yes Peggy Lego handwriting books are available. I do hope this is helpful and eases the burden on educators and families... my aim was to make the ideas simple and effective for families to implement... because at the end of the day... our health is number one, but if we can keep the kids moving and learning then that is a bonus! 21.01.2022 Today is Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day. DLD is often a hidden condition which affects approximately 2 children in every classroom. 01.01.2022 Following the Prime Ministers press conference last night and in light of the social distancing measures that are in place Lil' Peeps will no longer be providing face to face services this term. This is effective as of today 23rd March 2020. Working with many children, teachers and families, we have considered the risk to our therapists, clients, families and teachers we work with and we have decided not to offer school or home visiting services at this time, in line with so...cial distancing restrictions. We are able to offer an Telehealth service to your child. This may be difficult to become accustomed to, however with your support we are confident this can still be a very effective tool for achieving therapy goals. I also appreciate that your child's therapy goals are most likely not your priority at the moment, and for some there may be financial constraints as well. This I completely understand and my thoughts are with all people in Australia that will be affected. Over the weekend I made a number of our resources available online for free, so if you are in the situation where you cannot take up online support, we have free access to ideas and activities at home in the domain of wellbeing, gross motor, fine motor and handwriting. https://www.lil-peeps.com.au/take-home-ot It is something that we have not experienced in Australia in recent times so we are trying to keep some routines as normal as possible, even thought we know our day to day lives will now be different.
