22.01.2022 W E L L N E S S W E D N E S D A Y I have tried to practice all of these this past year! HELP - with the kids and homeschooling, it’s a tough gig made tougher by a toddler that just wants to get involved.... START AGAIN - Macrame projects... sometimes you just can’t force them! SAY NO - I say this a lot to my kids . But seriously, say NO to anything they doesn’t serve you well. REST - I’ve had to force myself to take some rest from knotting and it was so needed. Sometimes I want to do everything at once that I have so many balls/ideas in the air. I have to force myself to organise them and make some order and then take a rest to refresh the brain! LET IT GO - the house! Having the little people home 24/7 means something has to give and trying to constantly tidy up is super draining! So I’ll let it go... for now! NOT BEING OK - many many times but learning to accept it and finding ways to deal with it is helping so much! 05.01.2022 B O U N D A R I E S I am absolutely loving this little biz I have created for myself and every time I get an order it is still really exciting! BUT I have been feeling really frazzled lately because I have been spending all my time thinking, doing, creating, chasing and I have lost sight of why I was doing this, my other passion (food) and well the housework and home life have suffered too ... It came to a head on Sunday because I was starting to feel the stress... I had all these things I wanted to do and they all needed doing NOW! It was at that point I realised that I didn’t have any boundaries around this little biz and if I wanted to stay sane and look after my mental well-being then I needed to make them and work within them! Monday I sat down and organised my working week, set my boundaries and have been sticking to them... Usually I am a routine type of person, but covid has thrown that and all structure has seemed to have disappeared. Hopefully by adding it I can be more productive and a lot more organised!
