One good thing that came out of Covid shutdown for me was being able to reassess and focus on making my coaching more developed and balanced for each person I teach... Kids 4-6 years Kids 7-10 years Kids 11-14 years Teens & Adults Over that time I’ve developed a rotating cycle of fundamental classes for all of these age groups that will ensure everyone’s progress is with purpose, a deep understanding that will make progression faster, but mainly thorough. Knowing the How & Why of movements, as well as the smallest details is what will be incorporated in the breakdown. My coaching is more formatted, it’s precise and will be delivered to make my students’ Jiu Jitsu nothing but solid. 14.01.2022 Well .... that was 2020 And WOW! What a year it has been for us all. For the first time in our lifetime, the entire globe was brought together and stopped in our tracks by something enormous that we can all relate to in one way or another. We were all faced with challenges and hardships from the pandemic to overcome; some of which still are. We opened our doors in February 24th at our new facility SO excited - only to close our doors on March 18th; two weeks after openin...g. It was heartbreaking, scary and pure sadness; but it was important for us to stand strong and lead our members with positivity and strength to get through. No one knew what was happening, or what it meant, but with belief we’d pull through and everyone would be healthy was our motivation. We trained for four months of this year. It wasn’t what we wanted, but we know others have had it much harder. We are so grateful we have reopened and can continue what we love to train, do and offer. And we hope it stays that way. To our members (and Sunbury community) THANK YOU for your support for us through the tough times. Your messages were both overwhelming and encouraging. We got to the other side from your support and we hope we provided it back to you also. Thanks for the constant check-ins, posts of training at home and messages, it truly meant everything. 2021 is our focus now - To give back to our members, share the good times, learn heaps, help each other’s progress and just train!
