I had a fun day today with @tassietimberthings turning up these beautiful timber reel seat spacers on the lathe Just one of the reasons why you would buy a custom fly rod. You won't find these on factory rod!... 01.01.2022 Artists say "white is a blank canvas". The CTS white pearl blank is exactly that, almost any colour scheme would look great on it! My customer asked me to build a resin reel seat and the wraps had to be translucent, the design was my choice. Once I made the resin reel seat spacer, the design of the rest of the rod kinda just happened from there! These last two builds have been incredibly challenging but worth the effort.
