Everyone sees her differently. I see her working hard to keep her nose above water... have you taken a moment to ponder... how some of your favourite places will look in 10, 20, 30 years... That's our lifetime and our kids lifetime....and what about the homes and businesses in these places? Did you know that there are cities already experiencing sea water rising into their streets? Not to mention already displaced island communities In the last five years, sea level has risen 66% faster than the historical rate, and is now rising by an average of one inch every five years. While it took 60 years for the sea level to rise about 6 inches nationally, scientists now forecast that in just the next 20 years, the sea will have risen by another 6 inches. 21.01.2022 As an art student I just LOVED the days we had a class in a gallery, so today for my #kbartexplorer classes we hung out with the ladies of Mother Earth - The art of keeping her nose above water We soaked up the atmosphere and had some fun looking at eyes and working with black and white. That's Freda hanging above my juniors. Her name gives tribute to my beautiful Grandmother, I just had to name one after her. I'm sure she's loving watching over the exhibition. Yo...u can see whatever you like in Freda, but I see her crying Freda - is crying.... How to play There are 12 informational BIRD POSTERS hidden on the back of the LARGE PARK MAP SIGNS and each bird has a corresponding number. To play you must find all the posters and fill in the bingo sheet by matching the number to the bird. Return your filled out activity sheet to KBULG to go into the draw to win a prize. We hope you enjoy learning all about the birds in Karlkurla Bushland Park.
