25.01.2022 We toyed with the idea of keeping it under wraps, because we thoroughly intend to return (many times), but were too crazy thankful for the last few days of peace and quiet to keep them to ourselves. Thanks a bunch for the most blissful little getaway weve had in a long time @mrheartland, full of friends and food and vino and starry nights creating by the fire. Leaving was only made bearable by the next few days with @southern.forests.honey. See you on the flip side, ready to crush wedding season!

As someone with one of those outrageously shonky immune systems that doesnt do minor all that well, Im thankful that the majority of what we do is done from the cosiness of home. Chronic illness will already enforce the odd self-isolation of sorts, so seeing whats happening for the rest of the world, it feels strange to say that things really are still business as usual for us at this stage. For now, well be over here throwing all of those uncertainties into art. Well keep you in the loop if any shipping delays arise, and for all the couples having to rethink and reimagine right now, weve got your back (as do our suppliers and vendor friends, who we know are currently helping to move mountains). 08.01.2022 Time for a little refresh I was the kid at school who changed her handwriting like I changed my clothes. My year eight English teacher once sprung me when she realised the work on my desk didnt match the unnamed essay in her hand that I was trying to claim as my own. Trying to convince her that was last weeks handwriting was quite the rigmarole. That skill works more in my favour these days and, as we leap into our ninth year, it was time for a little spruce up. Our last logo was designed way back in 2013. Were still here for those watercolour details, but have done a whole lot of growing and creating and evolving since then. 04.01.2022 How’s iso life been treating you in your neck of the woods? Have to say, I did think I’d have it down to a fine art. Sans the nail colour and the Sunday family lunches, there’s really not all that much that separates it from spoonie life. Turns out those trivial things can be pretty life-giving some days, and there’s something about everyone else being stuck in the same boat as we wait to see how this is all going to unfold that’s felt far from comforting. Thankful for the orders that filtered through over the weekend to get us going today, and here’s to lots of new art coming your way very soon!

03.01.2022 I think I speak for everyone when I say that the highs and lows weve witnessed as a country in the last few months and, in particular, these past weeks, have been overwhelming. Our community rallies like no other, which is so uplifting to see, but the reasons for us having to do so are utterly terrifying. As so many in our industry have done, I instantly got to creating as the stories started filtering through. The clear views of the stars over the bush around our home as I ...did so wasnt lost on me; all while friends were in the midst of losing everything to the fires. I wanted to take a few days to make sure Id done my research and to ponder where our strengths best lie, because while the need for immediate support is so high, its increasingly apparent that this bushfire season is going to be a long one, with its effects even longer-lasting. I wanted to ensure that whatever we created was able to have a sustained impact beyond these horror days were in the thick of. So meet the Home digital print an A3 (easily scalable to A4/A5) hand-lettered aboriginal proverb for you to print, or frame, or pop on your fridge as you fancy. Were more than happy to print and post for you, so do shout if youre in need, but keeping her digital means that every penny of her $15 price tag can go to one of the many causes helping to keep the victims of our bushfires afloat, with Australian Red Cross being the first cab off the rank.
