25.01.2022 It’s been just over 6 weeks since the roller door went back up. In that time we’ve run 291 classes, that’s 13,095 mins of work. We’ve seen first pull ups and ring dips achieved. PB deadlifts, squats and bench. Legends supporting legends to do things they didn’t think they could do. Imagine what you could achieve with a clear run. You’ll be unstoppable!... The next 6 weeks are going to be tough but we can’t wait for what’s on the other side. More classes, more PB’s, bigger challenges, more goals smashed. It’s going to be an epic summer! Stay safe, be kind and reach out if there’s anything we can do to support you.



21.01.2022 Live Insta workouts coming 20.04.2020! Program is available for free download from our website now. The Program gives you an intro into what Home Alone is all about, details of optional equipment, overview of the movements and preview of the workouts. Get out of your comfort zone and give it a go, we’ve never done this before either! Huge shout out to @basicallybytarni (check out her insta) for working on this with us and bringing our vision to life. Dead set legend!

We’re all in this together and we’re ready to go live and bring you a program you can do from home. 6 days a week over on our Instagram page you’ll be coached through a variety of movements with a different focus each day, just like a real class. 16.01.2022 Rebuilding... Link opened in January, closed in March as per government guidelines and we're hopeful, excited and planning for a reopening on June 22. Our business, like so many other businesses and individuals, has been through more than we could have imagined or planned for in 2020. As we move into this next phase of rebuilding we're sh*t scared and anxious for what is to come and where the journey is going to take us. While remaining mindful to b...e kind and patient with ourselves and others as we navigate the next few months. But more than anything else, we are resilient, focused and excited! 15.01.2022 Updated class schedule from Monday 23/11. Includes a couple of extra spots in each class and some tweaks to the mix of classes. The focus is on you and it always will be. As we increase our capacity we will continue to cap our class numbers so you get the attention you need to work on technique and tailor your class to your fitness level, you’ll get real results working with us!

15.01.2022 This is the hand of our unborn little girl, she is beautiful and she has no idea about COVID-19, but she will be joining us in July, and we are so excited. What world she enters is up to us. Link, for now, is closing. In accordance with the instruction from the Federal Government, the roller door will temporarily come down 12pm Monday 23/3/2020. But we will be back, and what a day that is going to be! COVID-19 is sub optimal for us, but for others it is deadly. ... Each of us has to do our bit, and we are ready to do ours. We will focus on our family, on those around us, on setting an example for our children and planning for the re-birth of Link. We will all deal with these coming months differently. Some will want to keep moving, some will want to retreat into a shell. Some will need routine, some will take it as a chance to learn something new, or complete a task they have procrastinated over. Whatever it is for you, do what makes you happy. If you want to keep moving, we have something in the works so stay tuned. But the most important thing is that you ease the mental burden that we will all carry and check in on those around you to help them do the same. To our members, thank you! You are our priority, we won't be abandoning you. We will keep communicating and we are here for you for anything you need. You make Link, and we are so grateful. 14.01.2022 The secret to change is to focus all your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new. Starting with a different kind of morning view, for now. We’ve spent the last 48 hours, along with many others, processing some heavy sh*t, and we don’t mean the kind that’s on each end of a barbell. ... For now we’re focused on finding new routines, moving everyday, eating good food and being grateful that we live in such a beautiful part of the world.

11.01.2022 Decisions, decisions, decisions. All day we make decisions for ourselves and for others; work, family, friends, social engagements, it never ends. How many times have you walked through the gym door and thought ‘I have no idea what I am going to do today’. Give your brain a rest, and let us make the decisions for you. Walk in, train hard, get stronger, have a great time and you are done! Efficient and effective.

A huge thank you to the legends who trained with us this week, came down for a Sunrise Series session, joined us for the Home Alone program during iso or got in touch to check in. We really appreciate your support. Returning to things that we know are good for us and our wellbeing and leaving behind things we’ve decided we no longer need is going to look different for each of us as we move through the next few months and beyond. ... If getting back to the gym or training for the first time is on the list for you and you’re feeling uncertain, not sure where to start or need a helping hand with your program come down and say Hi! 05.01.2022 Our options may be limited right now but there are a number of reasons why we join gyms or use a personal trainer. Access to equipment, access to knowledge and socialisation among them. But the thing that is often underestimated is accountability. Even in a big gym, the mere presence of other people is often enough of a motivating factor to keep us moving and being effective. When we train at home we are literally only accountable to ourselves and that ain’t easy. This is... the key reason why we recommend you keep your workouts short and regular. Try and move with purpose for 15mins a couple of times a day, a 45min workout is hard to motivate yourself to complete and the longer the session the more the available distractions present themselves. Be accountable to yourself, for a short time. See more

04.01.2022 We’re getting our Erg on for Movember and we want you to join us! Sunday 29.11.2020 between 9am and 12pm. We’ve set a team goal to Erg 200km and raise $2,000 for men’s health. Damo will be stepping up to complete 42km on the Rower in the 3 hours. The rest is up to you... ... We’ll have 15min time slots on the Ski and 30min time slots on the Rower, you can sign up for one spot or a few. All welcome so spread the word. Bring a friend, family member, neighbour, your fav barista or your dog (we’ve never seen a dog on an Erg but it’s 2020 so who knows...)! 03.01.2022 What things do you miss? This period has possibly taught us about the things we truely value, along with the things we thought meant a lot to us but that we can actually do without. For each of us, the things we miss and don’t miss will be different. So I thought I would list what I am missing, the things I will not be taking for granted again, along with some of the things I can happily do without in the future. I miss...... - Our business - Just going somewhere for the day; to the beach, to the mountains, to a local town - Weekends away - Family in Port Fairy, Warrnambool and Melbourne - A sit down coffee, not in a rush - An afternoon beer in the sun - People pushing themselves in the Gym - Being in nature - Going out for breakfast - Seeing people busily going about their lives - Shaking hands, just because greeting someone new without a handshake is so awkward - Being busy! I don't miss... - Going out for dinner... too much effort! - Shopping, and buying pointless sh*t - The cinema - Social obligations - Time away from my family - 4am alarms! I miss more than I don’t. And as this speed hump in our lives is drawing to a close, I will be spending a lot of effort enjoying the things I miss, while avoiding the things I don’t.
