21.01.2022 When the smoke clears, Lions are still there. This bushfire season, the Australian Lions Foundation raised in excess of $2.5 million, of which $1.5 million has already been distributed to the communities in need. Where theres a need, theres a Lion. #WeServe

21.01.2022 Since November 2019, LCIF has awarded US$343,000 in grant funds to support communities in Australia who were devasted by bushfires. This funding purchased water... tanks in District 201-N2 and provided immediate assistance to those affected in Districts 201-N1, 201-N2, 201-V3, and 201-V6. LCIF... awarded a US$350,000 grant to support local medical and emergency management efforts in Italy due to the extreme scope and scale of the local situation. Eligible grant applications for COVID-19 are considered on a case-by-case basis. See more

08.01.2022 Great project with the use of the Lions Clubs International Foundation supporting the purchase of tablets so residents can stay connected.

08.01.2022 As part of the continued efforts for the bush fire relief, Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and local Lions Clubs are working together to bring much needed support to those affected. One such project is the replacement of water tanks damaged through the fire. These tanks hold up to 22,700 litres of water and for many, are the only source of drinking water. Matching contributions from LCIF, Lions Clubs throughout Australia are supporting this project sponsoring $3,...000 per tank to cover installation, piping and filling with fresh water and proudly having their clubs name printed on the outside. As with any project, Lions Clubs aim to keep the money local and so the tanks are ordered through local suppliers and installed with local resources (where available). And installation is already underway! Local Lions have also been victims of these fires, however continue to work tirelessly in these areas to provide support and assistance where needed. If youd like to contribute to the Lions relief efforts, make sure you support your local Lions Clubs projects through your community.
