22.01.2022 10.30am Saturday 27th, Noisy Nonna (musical) workshop for kids! The show developed out of the book, Noisy Nonna and incorporates story, song, music & dance around the theme of cooking and the kitchen. This one-time show at the Liquid Art pop-up venue on the Esplanade, will celebrate a musical showcase of local solo acts, duets, and la,la,la, from 6pm. 08.01.2022 AS PART OF RIVER OF ART, Batemans Bay is bringing you LIQUID ART! You can experience the soothing sounds of Tibetan singing bowls at this guided meditation. Ria Manolias of Our Highest Good will play both metal and crystal singing bowls to bring you into balance and peace. The meditation will guide you to be grounded; creative; calm; loving and increase your intuition. Everyone is welcome to simply relax and awaken their core self. All this whilst overlooking the water! Chairs will be supplied but you can bring a cushion too! We will be in the former Barkala Restaurant, which has been converted into an art gallery for this event. 07.01.2022 A scintillating mix of intriguing instrumentals, funky originals, hot swing and cool jazz performed by Milli & Jim of The Awesome with special guests Nick Danser bassist and Barny Barnbrook on sax and keyboards delighted our audience at Liquid Art tonight. 06.01.2022 A River of Music The Awesome will be in Batemans Bay for the River of Art festival this May. The Mallacoota based, musical duo will perform a collection of original songs straight from the heart for our Liquid Art audience on Thursday 25th May from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ... Mili and Jim will also provide some jazzy, bluesy, folky, awesome goodness for the opening of our Creative Makers Group Exhibition on Saturday 20th May starting at 6.30pm. And...stick around for more rich pure vocals, guitar artistry and velvet upright double bass from The Awesome at our Afters Party from 8 to 10pm. Free entry to all events!
