20.01.2022 In times of crisis and hardship LOOK FOR THE HELPERS. The Australian bushfires have been nothing short of devastating, and while trying to explain the situation to my beautiful daughters (aged 6 and 4) I was thankful that they asked "how can we help?" While we have donated personally to the relief efforts, I wanted the girls to feel like they were helping. So we took to the sewing machine and made a small collection of joey pouches for the @animalrescuecraftguild Thankfully, the girls were over it by the second pouch (as their "help" was alittle maddening!) However, I went on to make multiple pouches to send. It has been heart warming to see the overwhelming support for the relief efforts. Our thoughts are with those affected and the helpers on the front lines.

Life has thrown us a curve ball, and I'm not very good with unknown commodities (or sporting metaphors for that matter!). I'm a bit Type A, if there is a problem, I want to identify it, isolate it and throw everything I have at the solution! His new setting design featured six evenly spaced claws radiating out, that for the first time lifted the diamond off the band and maximized the diamond’s natural light reflection/ brilliance. Now don't get me wrong. I'm not a huge fan of Tiffany and Co. I haven't found their jewellery to be superiorly made considering the high end pri...ce tag for that blue box. But their founder Charles Lewis Tiffany does deserve props for developing the first six claw coronet. Which to this day is the most recognisable and popular engagement ring design, 100 plus years later!
