16.01.2022 If we are continually stressed over a period of time, because the body is habit forming, it affects the way we breathe, the body is tense and we stop breathing from the belly and it becomes short, sharp and shallow in the upper chest. Our body then does not naturally move our emotions (think of those deep sighs you will do when you are moving frustration, fatigue, sadness), the emotions then build up and we do what we can to numb them because they hard to feel. We all know what the build up of stress does to the body, there have been plenty of studies about it. Breathwork will help you release the emotions in a safe gentle way and allow you to breath more fully, expanding in to what you let out. You don't need to have any skill to do breathwork, it is available to everyone. Breath is the best medicine.

15.01.2022 Breathwork is a process that teaches you how to understand what your feeling, why you are feeling it and how to meeting your pain with love and understanding. That pain can be physical, emotional or both. It is a tool that shows you that rather than feeling overwhelmed or out of control, you can channel the intensity of your feelings into some beneficial - dance it out, write it out, bellow it out, or BREATHE it out. You don’t need to be overrun by what you are feeling. Yo...u can put it to work for you. And when you start to give your emotions the attention they are asking for you see anything that triggers you is an opportunity for healing another layer of self. Breathwork is a practice that has healed my depression, my anxiety, my shame, my fear of being to much and not enough. And for as long as I am in this human body I will continue to work on all freeing myself of all the ways I swapped authenticity for acceptance. Love Lisa

04.01.2022 I love this poem, it reminds us that we can be the port in the storm for ourselves during turbulent times. Like now. Breathwork is a tool that will change your life if you allow it to. It can open your heart to the beauty inside yourself, as you move the stuff that doesn't serve you can make room for the things you want to strengthen. You can develop a deep trust in life through breathwork and know you are always deeply held by yourself and life.
