17.01.2022 "There is a light" In 2004 I was in an unhappy relationship. The reference to this pastel drawing is a photo taken by my partner as we braved the supposedly haunted mushroom tunnel in Picton (NSW,Australia)... Only with hindsight can I appreciate the symbolism (There is a light at the end of every tunnel but sometimes it's an oncoming train)
02.01.2022 About 15 years ago I decided I would create my own tarot cards. I sat down in front of a blank sheet of A4 paper and stared...until slowly but surely an image came to life. It took me about a year as I've always been a horrible procrastinator. So I was really bloody proud of myself when number 78 was done and dusted! Then I went around to printing shops.... Woohoo! On my way now. Except...no one seemed to understand my request- that I wanted to make a set of professional quality cards. Most said it wasn't possible, one quoted me $1+ each card. So I left it...gave up.. Until last year when I decided to search on line I found a company in the USA which could do what was asking at a viable price! Enter another year or so of procrastination and well, here we are: These are available for $A 44 including postage Australia wide (international orders welcome for the going shipping rate) There are 78 in the set. Both the major and minor Arcadia are in full pictorial colour. They are printed on smooth quality card stock. Each card measures 12cm 7cm.
