Give your child a headstart in reading and writing so they have the confidence to tackle those early days at school. Sessions are 90 min long and run on Thursday mornings during Term 4.... 15.01.2022 SCHOOL HOLIDAY LITERACY INTENSIVES -- December 2017 / January 2018 Our popular and fun Literacy Intensive Programes are running again! The programme is suitable for children experiencing difficulties in learning to read or spell or those who have a specific learning difference such as dyslexia. Children will learn vital skills for reading and spelling through multi-sensory, systematic instruction. The programme is suitable for children of all ages and ability levels.... Dates are as follows- Monday December 18 to Thursday December 21 2017 Monday January 8 to Thursday January 11 2018 Monday January 15 to Thursday January 18 2018. There will be two programmes run each day -- morning (9 -12) and afternoon (1-4). Please contact the Literacy and Learning Centre for further details or to reserve a place for your child. 13.01.2022 Our popular school holiday Literacy Intensive Programme is running again in the April school holidays. Please contact the Centre if you have any questions or if you would like to reserve a place for your child.

13.01.2022 All services at the Literacy and Learning Centre are moving online. This means that your child will be able to access their regular therapy and tutoring sessions via ZOOM. We have already started transitioning to ZOOM and feedback from the kids has been that these sessions have been engaging and fun! You should receive an email soon advising of this transition, but please do not hesitate to contact the Centre if you have any questions. New clients are still welcome to contac...t the Literacy and Learning Centre for support. This includes support for managing anxiety and stress for children and their parents during these difficult and stressful times; accessing parenting advice for coping with changes to regular family routines as a result of the shutdown and social distancing; and arranging specialised remedial tutoring support for children with identified Learning difficulties such as dyslexia. We are also in the process of moving some of our assessment services (dyslexia assessments) to ZOOM -- stay tuned for more information about this exciting move. See more

10.01.2022 October School Holiday Literacy Intensive Programmes Monday 8 October to Thursday 11 October Our fun Literacy Intensive Programmes aim to provide a highly engaging and interactive learning experience for your child. Each day, your child will complete three hours of intensive one-to-one and small-group literacy instruction with our highly trained teachers. ... Our groups have a high teacher to student ratio with maximum of 3-4 children per group! This means that your child can work on building the skills they need at their own pace. This fun MSL based programme is designed to benefit pupils experiencing reading and/or spelling difficulties or those who have a specific learning difference such as dyslexia. The programme is suitable for children of all ability levels.

Your patience and resilience in embracing the craziness of the past few weeks as we have switched over all therapy and tutoring to the video sessions via ZOOM has been outstanding! And a special shout-out to the amazing, all conquering Literacy and Learning Centre teachers and Psychologists who have gone over and beyond to ensure that none of their students go without support.
